Depite winning a bronze medal, the IIHF was "less than satisfied" with my performance...probably because of my terrible round-robin record (1-3, but come on, I knocked off Russia in the Prelim round and won handedly against Austria in the Bronze Medal game

One thing I realized about international competition is that if one of your players get suspended, he's out for the entire tournament. My top line forward took a misconduct in the first game of the RR, and didn't get to play the entire tournament, which was a huge loss cause he was a huge part of my offense and able to play all 3 forward positions in case an injury happened. I figured this was because the game doesn't recognize a WJC game as an "International Game" even though that's the type of game a player gets suspended for. So I guess if the poor lad ever makes a WC roster or Olympic roster, he might have to sit out the first game cause of something that happened years ago

Another thing is that for some reason you can add college players to the roster, you can add club players to the roster, but you can't offer club players who've commited to a college, or more generally, a player with an arranged transfer (robbed me of a stud 17 year old dman

So that's all I've got. How's your record in International Competition? Any tips or interesting things you've noticed?
