How to trade a NTC player?

Post by thecoolstuff »

How do I trade a player with No Trade Clause? Can the clause be waived? If so, is there a way to tell the player to waive it or is it all depends on the player? How do I made him waive it?

Need help, thx

Yeah that's right...

However, while I have seen players from game-run teams reject deals based upon them having a no trade clause, our first Challenge involved Washington who has Kolzig with a NTC and every one of us dealt him without issue I think so it might not be as much of a burden as it seems. Best you can do is put together a deal and hope the player accepts it I guess...

You may be able to clear him of it earlier if he'll accept a new contract offer not including a NTC though :-k

Try making him unhappy first.

But when you try doing that, other players on the team might become unhappy too.

I did it! I traded Mark Recchi to Carolina with no clause waiving problem. I simply set the player status to not needed and available (no reason).
