Customizable Lists

Post by dave1927p »

i am wondering if you can allow the users to compile our own list/rankings for certain stats and info.

Say i want to have to ability to create or filter a list of top 10 or 50 or 100 career scorers for the Toronto Maple Leafs and have the ability to bookmark it and let it update automattically throughout the game.

Or let me rank the top all-time players in my organization where i can link the player name to their ingame all time stats and perhaps have a couple stats next to their name on the list - all being customizable.

That's something i've always wanted in this game....ootp does it to some extent .

Or the ability to make a list of all the team captains or the (unofficial) team mvps.

I don't know if it's something you are capable of doing Dabo, but it would be neat to have.

I am not quite sure I follow you. There seem to be quite a bit of features in ootp that people here want in the game, perhaps I should have a look at it. Problem is, baseball confuses me... :)

i would like a way to create my own draft rankings like many teams IRL do. maybe the same way the shortlist in EHM is set up but be able to shift players up and down the list..?

EDIT: Maybe even be able to ask yours scouts or assistant GM for there prospect rankings.

if you have ever watched the NHL Draft show they have on the nhl network it shows gm's talking and telling each other who they are interested in drafting, whether they tell the truth or not i think it would be great to see what the team in front of you is planning on doing...

I can see how that would be useful.

and if you make these lists customizable, i'm sure people would do some creative things with them - but the trick is to allow us to put their stats or some info/notes on the same line and allow us to click to players name to bring up his profile page. If you can't do that then we might as well be using microsoft word :)

For example allowing us to make the lists look like a media article and allow us to type a paragraph or two.

I'm sure it's quite tricky to do and it's something that should be low on the priority list, but something to consider..

Being able to sort lists by category would be a very nice feature.

These types of lists would be great for looking at the history of all the players who were drafted /played for a team.

Also for team history stats.
