Nihlstorp was signed from Rögle, they will probably go with him. Too bad they lost Jonas Gustafsson.rfroese wrote:Anyone have any thoughts on Robin Rahm's admitted steriod abuse and his subsequent 2 year suspension? Do you think Farjestad will be able to lure Vesa Toskala back or will they go with Fredrick Holmqvist?

Today's exhibition matchup Jyp - Ak Bars Kazan will be exciting. Jarkko Immonen makes comeback (in wrong jersey) to Jyväskylä. Ak Bars is toughest team ever played exhibition games in Finland, especially in Jyväskylä.
Ak Bars Kazan A-juniors played/will play against Jyp A-juniors. I don't know when the game will be or was it in last week. Anyway, my former schoolmate plays in Jyp A-juniors.

If I remember correctly Chicago Blackhawks played exhibition games in Finland, and them with that Stanley Cup winning group they had last season would mean they have been the strongest team to play against a finnish team. Sorry for nitpicking thoughJypfan92 wrote:Ak Bars is toughest team ever played exhibition games in Finland, especially in Jyväskylä.

Oh, and Jyp's starting goalie was Joni Myllykoski: Jyp's backup goalie, who played last season in Denmark.Jypfan92 wrote:Yes, only Alexei Morozov didn't play cause of back pain, but Danis Zarapov, Sergei Zinoviev, Marcel Hossa, Janne Pesonen, Jarkko Immonen, Niko Kapanen and Petri Vehanen played.

Good question. They totally destroyed D3's Stockholm Södra group last season with a perfect season and yet it looks like they didn't even take part in the Stockholm area's Kvalserien til D1. Truly incomprehensible. Are there financial requirements to be met even at those lowly levels that Bajen Fans did not meet??? They've revived their junior club and seem to have the capacity to attract players one good step above D3 level, so they shouldn't have problems with that...rfroese wrote:Can anyone explain what it will take to get Hammarby IF/Bajen Fans from D3 up to D2? Is there a one year waiting period before they can be promoted? I can't wait for the day when Hammarby and AIK are back in Allsvenskan together where they belong. Just a step below Djurgarden

Blues' Jani Lajunen (on loan from Nashville) scored umbelievable goal on yesterday against Kärpät. It was also game-winning-goal in the overtime.
Lajunen's goal at 2.12 (first few ads, then goals of the game)
