I found these on another forum, but I just had to pass them along.
Dear Pat Quinn,
Sorry I'm not Ed Belfour.

Dear Pat Quinn,
So umm... I'm not one to toot my own horn or anything, but after playing my heart out every night, and being one of the best penalty killers on the team, I couldn't help but watch from up here in the press box as the Rangers Power Play scored 3 goals tonight. Can I play tomorrow in Pittsburgh? Please?
- Sincerely,
Matt Stajan
Dear Pat Quinn,
Thanks for letting me skate around for 15 minutes tonight. My blades were getting rusty.
- Sincerely,
Jeff O'Neill
Dear Pat Quinn,
Thanks for putting me on the top line tonight. I'm really glad you gave me the chance to redeem myself after $#@* ing up huge in Buffalo. Sorry I didn't give you any points or contribute in any way tonight, better luck next time!
- Sincerely,
Nik Antropov
Dear Pat Quinn,
Seriously. What the ****?
- Sincerely,
Mats Sundin
Dear John Ferguson Jr
Get me some linemates already.

Those are great
The Dear ________ format is a personal favorite of mine for mini-rants. I've seen some really great ones on reality tv threads; they're a lot of fun.
We had a ragingly long thread like that on our local Hawks board too. There were of course a lot of anti-Wirtz posts as people had posted various versions of "Dear Mr. Wirtz. I hope you die. Soon."
Someone of course then had to get all holier-than-thou and say how horrible and black hearted that was of anyone to say
A poster then tried to moderate the situation saying people probably were just joking. It was closed soon after when about the fifth person posted a reply saying that no, they quite honestly did, in fact, wish he was dead.

Sundin
I speak for many Leaf fans when I wish Sundin a speedy exit out of TO.
He played great for Sweden...seems strangely unmotivated when it comes to playing for the Leafs...of course, playing with Chad Kilger would probably do that to anyone.
With any luck, Quinn will soon be out.

I tend to think that Sundin is heavily overrated especailly for the way people talk of him... but I would have strangled Quinn by now were I him; it does seem his linemates are selected dialy via a dartboard. Is someone struggling, not playing to his potential, maybe half way to playing himself back to the farm? Well we'll put em with Sundin and see what happens...
