The next release will be a little longer. I want to add more to it. However, I am having problems with the first release so they might make it into that one if I can't get it to work properly before thenDoug342 wrote:I know you sent the first update already, but are you going to have another update when all the rest of the prospect research is done? I'll take the Canadiens next, and I'll make sure to finish it by the 28th or so.
I got it. It is fine and I will complete itBeukeboom wrote:I did some basic work on Panthers and sent it to manimal. Did you get it? If anyone wants to do continue work on them contact me or him, its a good basis i provided i just didnt dare to go into assigning attributes.

I've started with the Devils, and I'm finding that the attributes set are above the maximums allowed by his calculated CA, should I lower them to the Max for that CA? Specifically, with Mattias Tedenby he has 16s in his best attributes, which would be fine if his ca was 120, but with those 16s, his ca was set in the 80s in the database. His last season in the Swedish Elite league would give him a CA of 91, or a Max attribute of 14.5.
That all being said, he's now played 20 games in the NHL, and has 8 points. I'd say 4th line player right now or CA of 120. What do you guys think I should do in this type of situation. Should I stick the the Sheet 100% or use my own judgement?

I always thought you could exceed the CA max when the players talent calls for it - often stuff like speed. Shouldn't happen often but when the situation calls for it.
I've been wondering about players who've made the NHL this year as well. Been doing some work on Colorado, and Shattenkirk gets a CA of 78 based on his season of college last year, but this season he's scored 19 points in 25 NHL games which would justify a CA over 100.

The Max attribute value are more guidelines than rules, so it is ok to have better values.empach wrote:I always thought you could exceed the CA max when the players talent calls for it - often stuff like speed. Shouldn't happen often but when the situation calls for it.
All CA is based upon last year's stats. Feel free to raise them a little bit, though. But not too muchempach wrote: I've been wondering about players who've made the NHL this year as well.
