Sorry for the delay. I was distracted by the Christmas break. I'll get it done this weekend.

I don't think McQwak has anything to worry about! :D

I have added the final scores and you can see the standings here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/fsports.php

I am currently working on upgrading the forum's software. There is no guarantee at this stage that the Prediction League will be available straight after the upgrade - it may take some work to upgrade it. Therefore we have two options:

1) Finish the Prediction League now and award trophies and full points to the top three. Then the Prediction League probably wouldn't start again until the Playoffs.

2) Award half-points to the current top three and continue the Prediction League until the forum software is upgraded in a few months' time. At this point I will award trophies and full points to the top three.

What would you all prefer?

A few months time could mean the start of the play-offs, so it seems there is not much difference between the two options :dunno:

BTW, I still think the system is flawed, lol. I have more wins, fewer losses and better point difference than McQwak but I have voted in five fewer games...

Don't change the rules in the middle of competition, Manimal :-D

As for the choices... I vote for 2nd. Let's try to continue as far as we can.

No, not for this year. Next year maybe if the masterminds behind this competition agrees with me

Maybe you were just very good at predicting? :dunno: I think I should be able to find your predictions in the database so I might be able to compare your predictions with the results. I have to say that I am surprised to be 5th given that I missed two weeks (approx 9 or 10 games)...

There is no guarantee at this point that I could bring the Prediction League over to the new forums. It's a very old script and so there is a chance it won't be compatible. In light of the possible issues we've mentioned above with the Prediction League (i.e. possibly dubious results) it might be that I'll need to write my own script. This would take time and might not be ready until the 2011/12 season.

So what should we do with this? Announce winners? ;)
Were you able, Archi, to transfer the Prediction League to the current forum?
Where can I find standings? The old links seem not working. Thank you.

Yes, winners should have been awarded. Seems I forgot to do this what with all the other things I'd been doing on the site. I'll look into this as soon as I can.

Unfortunately the old prediction league software is not compatible with our new forum. Therefore I had to remove it (and that's why the old links no longer work). I'm planning on attempting to write my own prediction league software from scratch. The old software served us well, but I think it could be improved upon somewhat - if you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see then please let me know (nothing too elaborate though!). I haven't started writing the software yet and I doubt it'll be complete before the start of the new season - I want to prioritise helping out with Manimal's roster update (i.e. with the new ShaddSheet for calculating CAs) before starting work on anything else.
