GM Interview:

How did you think you fare in your first season with the Devils?
From my point of view, and probably others too, last season was unacceptable and bad. Both the play on the ice and my inability to stay with the team during the hard times due to personal problems was troublesome.
Though we can not going around feeling sorry for ourselves, we need to come back with the double enthusiasm and be faster, stronger and better!
How did you off-season go and your view on the season so far?
Well, the draft and scouting wasn't going as planned but we managed to solve it an a really satisfying way. I'm really pumped up by the few players we picked, a small but strong core!
We are rebuilding, that is all I really can say, but we will be better than last season. I got some possible plans for the future and it all comes down to opportunities. What we need is one heck of a job from all participants and if we manage to work that out we will be just fine. Our team is a lot younger and faster than the previous year. We will continue to improve and let the younger players take centre stage. This is a critical year for the our team, we do not want to be relegated.
