Post by MKoivuFan »

My question is if your a GM of a AHL team, do you find out trades your NHL parent team in the news or only if the player is assigned to ur roster?

If I understand your question: NHL news is always reported (regardless of the league you pick), so you will find out both by the player being moved off your roster AND in the News menu. All transactions between the parent and NHL club are reported iirc.

Yes it will. Specifically it will tell you when your NHL parent team assigns and recalls players. And if I remember correctly you will get an 'extra' news item if a player that you parent team has under contract and assigned to your team gets traded.
