Discuss all hockey and EHM-related competitions here (except the GM Challenges). This is also the place to talk about all of our community-run competitions and games.
Forum rules PLEASE NOTE: ADVERTISING A LEAGUE/COMPETITION/WEB SITE/FORUM IS NO LONGER PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE BLUE LINE. We have had too many people take liberties with this privilege; signing up simply to advertise their site and not actually contributing to the community. We also see a lot of bumping of threads which is really just spamming the site. Anybody that advertises anything on TBL will be permanently banned for spamming.
BlackCats101 wrote:I wish that somebody would make an FM/EHM style motorsport manger game. You could have dots moving round the circuit representing the cars, and the commentary could provide you with news of incidents/penalties etc. The main game would involve managing a race team-hiring sponsors and drivers etc. You have to work your way up through different competition formats to the ultimate goal of F1.... Licenses wouldn't be a problem because as ever the game would be fully editable anyway..Minty, I await the finished product
Oh my God it exists already!!!! [spoil]batracer
I have entered an F1 team and a BTCC entry. More importantly if any of you guys want to play please enter. I will set up a private league in an F1 2006 competition
Basically it is like EHM for racing. The main options are located along the top of the screen. You have to register to play but it is quick, easy and free.
To join the TBL racing F1 competition go to 'private games' in the 'game' menu. Our game ID is 'TBL' and the password 'murraywalker' click here!
We need a minimum of 11 entrants, but a maximum field of 22 would be better. EVEN IF YOU HAVE LITTLE INTEREST IN MOTORSPORT GIVE IT A GO!
For your info, I have entered as Toro Rosso
Also, it helps to have team-mates, as you can privately share the best set-up info to get the best positons/results.
I look forward to seeing the Minstrel/Archi Ferrari team dynamic
The game doesn't require loads of time. You set-up the car, run the practice simulation and see how you do. The more time you put in tweaking the car the better your chances. Qualification is a randomisation of you practice performance and your car's general level of ability. The race tactics are the most interesting part-deciding pit-stops/ who to be more aggressive against etc.
You don't have to be at a computer to see the race-you can watch it back at any time...
Biggest piece of advice for this game is to constantly be in contact with your team mate. Teamwork can get you spot on's for most of your car, just make sure you don't do warmup/practice at the same time.

Exactly-spot on, Calv
Come on archi, flea, minstrel-I expect to see you out on track!
Yeah c'mon guys- i have only got three other Bat racer games to keep me going .
I like the races from what I have seen on the others-mechanical failures on the penultimate lap ruined my touring car race, and a bodged pit-stop saw me finish in 7th in another F1 game.
