NCAA Unfaking Project & Facepacks Will Return For 2007

Post by Devils88 »

Hi Boys (and maybe Girls :dunno: )

I'm working on a File i called NCAA unfaking with Cardfacepack. :-D
I will edit the whole NCAA-Teams (WCHA,CCHA,ECAC) and give their new players faces....
So here are the details:
-Changing fake player names and birthdates to the real ones. (sometimes hard to find the real player for the right names)
-edit some missing Draft Information.
-edit Team Names (eg. Wisconsin / Wisconsin Badgers)
-edit max. Attendence for the stadiums.
and at last but not least give each Player a Card :-D

the database i used for editing is Unfaking 1.0 which was done by Kidhander,Uros and Friends.
maybe some of you can help me out with this question: is it possible to delete a player from the team roster??

Work is in Progress-
Done so Far: Database for the whole WCHA
Cards for WCHA Teams: Michigan Tech, St.Cloud, Alaska-Anchorage, Denver, Minnesota-Duluth, Western Michigan (moved to CCHA)
You see, it's a long way to go

Don't expect the project this month. cause after i've done one team i do

I THINK you could delete a player from the game by setting his nationality to Timor (or whatever :)).

I love that it's going to come with the cards too =D> =D> It's an 'Unfaking and Facing' project! :-p

I know zippo about the editor but I'd guess to 'delete' a player you could set him on loan to the Ugandan National Team or something too :-D

Thanks for the input.

Found a Way to "delete" players.

Rosters are all done.... :-D

Also the pics are already done...but:
I'm still searching for good pics from Northeastern and Massachusetts Minutemen. The Official Sources are awful and the media guides are black/white.

Hi Folks!

Finished the NCAA Project now :ohyeah:

Will be released for download next week ;)

It exists of 3 Files: Database, and 2 Facepacks

Facepack for WCHA, ECAC
Facepack for CCHA, Hockey East, Hockey Atlantic...at all 1157 Cards. :-o
+
Database Unfaking 1.0 from the awesome Unfaking-Crew (Kidhander, Uros and all the others) including my changes to the NCAA. Includes also the renamed logos for the teams.
I only changed the NCAA and nothing else. Also i've only changed for the players
-the faked names to the real names
-right birthdates
-right hometowns
-sometimes the draft info for players who got drafted (but not in the game)
-3 special times the position (eg. from Defender to Wing)

for the teams
-team names (eg. Minnesota to Minnesota Golden Gophers and so on)
-maximum attendence for the stadiums
-sometimes name of the arena

Image

Hope you like it :toast:

Yup yup... and it will also be available as an option for use with TBL GM Challenges as well :-) This is an awesome project I know people are going to love! We'll have it up as soon as we can coordinate it (I just got the renamed versions of one facepack back to D88 a minute ago...). But hey, we don't call him the Resident Cardsmith for nuthin ;)

This one certainly involved even more than the usual :swamped: work so extra thanks go out for making this one available to the TBL Community! =D> :wtg: =D>

Keep an ear to the ground; it'll be soon 8-)

Great work guys

I know I really appreciate all your work on these updates

Just one quick question...I recently dl'ed the OHL update...does this update build on this or is it seperate?

Do I have to choose?

Thanks again for all your time and effort

Each database project is independant of each other; they are replacements for any database you're running. This one D88 started from the Unfake v1 database and worked from there to add his NCAA unfaking changes to it. So this will have Unfake v1's unfaking changes as well as D88's new unfaked NCAA.

So you'd need to run your OHL db to go to your OHL game; check out at the top of this forum though the Announcement thread: "Announcement: Guide: Installing addons, using WinZip, running multiple DBs" as it contains a guide by Arch to help people simplify the process of using more than one db in thier games.

Okay, now don't everyone run to the server at once but this bad boy is loaded up and ready for download! :ohyeah:

Continuing congrats and thanks to all the authors who worked on the original Unfake Database upon which this based and big time congrats to Devils88 for undertaking not just the unfaking of the daunting NCAA but also creating logos and over a 1000 facecards for use with the new database :-o How much does that rock?!?! :wtg:

Here's a link directly to the database download page, from which I have also created links to the download pages for both facepacks as well:

What a cool way to start your week huh? =D>

Nice work Devils.

And it's a good thing I didn't touch my newest "full career" yet, because now I can start a new one with this database.

Nice work, again!
