First of all i have to say that YES, i have searched the forums for online related questions and YES i have found several threads but none of them talks about this particular problem. It's mentioned is the bottom of some threads but ignored.
So my question is - Can anyone help me?
I choose the leagues i want to play with and it starts to load the database etc. but then it just says "The online game "xxxx" could not be created." And i have closed down my firewall and forwarded the port 10065.
If the game couldn't actually be started then it sounds something else rather than a connectivity issue. I don't have any experience on network EHM 2007 games (but I played a lot of 2005 over the internet) but I'm sure you should be able to create a network/online game even on a computer without a network connection - but maybe this assumption is wrong. Can you create a standard game, at all?
I used to have this problem too. If you cannot create a online game it is because you have more than one folder in your Database file. Just copy and paste those other database folders into a different folder, leaving only the database files in your database folder. This worked instantly for me.
Just saying thanks to Dominator for this info. It has bugged me for a long time, not being able to start a multiplayer game, atleast not without a complete hassle. Works like charm now!
Sweet finally something I know an answer too...I had this problem
So make a offline game, and then add all the Gm's and such that you want for your online game. Save the file. Restart EHM 07. At the main menu when you woudl normally go to create online game, go to restore online game. Select to load the game that was created offline. It will work and just send the GM's the IP and your GOLDEN!
In fact i had this problem too but the answer is : If you place another Folder in the database section it's doig that.... i had the roster lidas and when i delete it my games works...but now i cannot reload an online game.....
I think you might get the latest game update. Then try to configure the right port. Create a offline server for the game and setup all, then go online then you might check if you can connect to it.
