Lets say Jordan Rams want Jiri Hudler from the Red Wings and they offer Jean Simms-D,Mick Sanders-RW,Tom Ants-G and Ron Hicks-C or the Dallas Stars want Tim Taylor from Orlando Solar Bears at the Draft and will be willing offer Draft Picks from the Draft you can either send a Counter Offer,Reject it or Accept it.
RFA demand's a Trade because you can't afford him and doesn't want to sit out or sign with a Overseas Team.

Will you make loans between teams from North America and Europe possible? I think it's possible nowadays? And if I remember correct some young Finnish player has a clause on his contract that makes him available to go play with his team here in Finland if he doesn't play in NHL or AHL or something like that.

This is very common for Swedish players aswell. I know Oliver Ekman-Larsson has a clause in his contract that says if he don't get top-4 minutes in the NHL he may choose to go back to Sweden. Also, due to the new agreement between Sweden and the NHL, players that are younger than 22 years old and was not drafted in the first round has the right to go back to his Swedish team if he doesn't make the NHL.Saapas wrote:Will you make loans between teams from North America and Europe possible? If we're talking trades/transfers, please please make it so that European clubs can negotiate with NHL clubs. For example, if I manage Avangard, I want to be able to go make a bid for a player in the NHL. So they should have a value added to their profile even if they are in North America.
And about that, please make it more like in FM, so, if a club wants a player he'll come and offer something between the value of the player and the asking price, not like in EHM currently. And I am also filled up with guys with 100k value and 20mil asking price. Either he's worth 100k or 20mil, can't be both.
And one more thing, could the FM system of adjusting your transfer and salary budgets by dedicating more to one or the other be implemented?

Agreed. At least a "ask for a (temporary) release if the player is stuck in the AHL or becomes unhappy. At least for EurosNightmare wrote:If we're talking trades/transfers, please please make it so that European clubs can negotiate with NHL clubs. Re: Trading
I think the other important thing here is that sensible trade logic needs to be used. Note for example the Phil Kessel trade with Toronto. I think something is seriously wrong when you can't offer a team that's in rebuilding mode 5 1st round draft picks for a player, even someone like Ovechkin. Pretty much anyone that gets tagged untradable or 5 stars becomes ridiculously difficult to acquire in the current version of the game. The other thing that's important is the AI needs to be more aware of performance vs cost. It's actually pretty easy to trade some players with inflated salaries as long as the club you're trading to doesn't have financial difficulties, but the AI doesn't think far enough ahead, so it's fairly straightforward to saddle clubs who are likely to compete with you in free agency with large salary players. For example you can do this to the penguins to get Crosby cheaply down the line quite easily using the original rosters.

Re: Trading
The AI in EHM is bad, yeah, but I think untouchable players and 5 stars players should be almost untradable - I think this is correct. Maybe there should be a little less of them, but still.

Re: Trading
I think the amount of them is perfect, it is who is a 5 * player and what makes a player become a 3 or 4 *.
More importantly it comes down to contracts. When the AI can't resign a player in EHM the value tends to drop from 5 star or UNT to a 3 star, this in theory is great get something for a guy rather than lose him for nothing. But it is very rare that when you acquire one of these former UNT players who are set to go UFA that you can't sign them. And usually sign them relatively cheap.
I guarantee you could offer the Capitals 7 1st round picks tomorrow for Alex Ovechkin and they tell you to gtfo! There are players who don't get traded simple as that. It somewhat sucks from a game standpoint cause you want to be able to pick up these stars, but its very unrealistic that a team would trade their best player for a handful of uncertain picks.

Re: Trading
One way to get around that could be to set their reputation kinda high compared to their ability. At least I think it could work that way. Not optimal at all, but it's a pretty simple solution, I think.drewst18 wrote:I think the amount of them is perfect, it is who is a 5 * player and what makes a player become a 3 or 4 *.
