Hockey Gaming Discussion and Online EHM Leagues

Quite recently we've made a couple of changes to the structure of the TBL Forums with regards to discussion of hockey gaming and of online EHM leagues. I thought I'd post a little more detail on what changes have taken place:

Hockey Gaming Discussion
Over the past year or so we've been extending discussion on TBL to cover other hockey games in addition to EHM. Seeing as EHM has ceased development (and is now no longer on sale), it seems only natural that we look at covering other hockey games. You may have noticed that we've been covering developments with regards to Wolverine Sport's FaceOff Hockey series over the past year and we've recently been posting updates on EA Sports NHL 12. There is also Dabo's Hockey Manger project which we're very proud to provide a home to.

Seeing as Ultimate Hockey Sim is on hold at the moment, we've converted the UHS Forum to a Hockey Gaming Forum. All of the old posts discussing hockey gaming have been grouped by game/project and moved to this new forum. In the near future I will be working on providing updates on a number of the games covered in the forum.

***Although we are looking to discuss and support other hockey games, we will remain to be an EHM site first and foremost.***


Online EHM Leagues
Quite some time ago, we agreed to drop the rule stating that online leagues could only be posted in the 'Join our online league' thread. As I've been so busy with other behind the scenes work on the site and a couple of projects supporting roster updates, I never got around to announcing this publicly (and thus only a few users had been aware of this change up until now).

We hope that by allowing one thread per league in the General EHM Online Chat Forum we can help to promote and support EHM online leagues.
