My First Blog!

Post by Tyees »

So im starting my first blog/read through story, just for the heck of it!

Going unemployed, little reputation, and only accepting an NHL job with the canucks, or a WHL job with Medicine Hat, otherwise ill be in Europe or maybe an ECHL team if I like the team name!

Starting the job search now, see how it goes!

November 20th Almtuna GM Ohrstedt is fired,

November 21st, applied for GM position,

November 25th, offered the job!

Now, have never played in the Swedish league, or europe for that matter, I'll be learning quickly what to do, I prefer playing defensive so we'll see how that goes.

Currently 6th or 16 sitting at a 10-8-2 record, with 5 players in the top 50 for points.

Really nothing to update on, still slugging it out with Almtuna, hired some coaches, scouts etc but not planning on staying long. Not a big fan of the Euro league stuff.

Appears I suck at blogging, after toiling around in Sweden for a few years I took a job with Charlotte which didn't go much better.

Applied with Drummondville since I prefer to play in the CHL however thats not the team I'd like to play with, perhaps something will come up that'll spark my interest.

Until then I'll just post more naff blog posts until I get really excited about something!

Got the job with the Volts, inherited an okay roster but my only goalies and my top skater were all over aged and beyond that was no real standout prospects.

I got hired just in time for the draft, so I came in with no scouting reports and no attributes for anyone, relied heavily on my scouts and turned out to go okay, drafted two new goalies, some skaters and a few defencmen.

First round, 15th overall Pick:

So pretty much ran out of time to play, with work and school and what not. Might pick it up here sometime this week, however I'm also working on another DB for the 2000-2001 season. Will use this to update both my franchise and my DB!
