TBL Playoff Games Announcements NO SPOILERS!

Okay, in order to allow us to make any announcements about our two Stanley Cup Playoffs based games in a place where people who want to keep themselves away from the possibility of learning about any results/player performances based news until they can watch recorded games or gain access to game tapes etc. I've created this locked thread that is guaranteed Spoiler Free.

If you see there is an updated message here it may relate to results of OUR games but it will NOT reflect any NHL game results or individual player performances.

This way at least people playing will not miss out on announcements tha may need to be made about the games. If you are shielding yourself from real-time results it is not advisable to check in on the other TBL game threads as they are by their nature talking about the Playoffs upon which they are based.

Stats sheet for the Pledge & Play game will be up by Sunday mornin for your perusal over brunch along with the Sunday paper

So here's the points only standings update for the Pledge and Play Playoff Challenge

Updated Totals For The First Round

New to the listing I've added points gained or lost totals in parenthesis for each category individually as well as on your Total line. The Number next to your team name is the number rank you were at last update.

Unfortuantely, it is possible to go backwards due to negative points for players recording a - number in +/- and goalie losses. For example the last Calgary game was particularly unkind as it was a shutout and most of the players recorded -2 or worse.

I've updated the "Leader Board" message (just to keep from having that list in here 40 times with different stats) for the Pledge & Play Playoff Challenge so it reflects the point totals through the First Round!

I'm going to post now once each team has played their games so that everyone gets an update each time so next update will be after each team finishes Game 1 of their series.

Later today I'll be creating your team pages in the Knowledge Base so you can see your full breakdown and if you have any players left for the next round

Okay your team listings with each of your players total earned points for the Round are now listed in the Knowledge Base. There is a master players list (representing all players active in our game) sorted alphabetically, by NHL team and by total points earned.

There is then a combined team listing so you can see which player snagged you what points.

Sorry about the mad scrollin action necessary to reach the list... the wierd giant gap at the beginning of each page isn't my fault... it's a phpBB "known issue" with HTML tables

That's why I combined the table for the teams listing otherwise there would have been one of those gaps before each new team

Starting a new post for Round 2 Totals

These totals will be what your team's players have gained for Round 2; the only carried over numbers are your totals from Round 1. I've also noted who remains on people's teams after the First Round knockouts. Mainly upon the strength of the Carolina & San Jose Goalies early in this round there was quite a bit of movement including munky's rags-to-riches story hopping from 6th to 3rd! 1st place remains unchanged, but I'll leave it at that

I appear to have crossed over my Round numbers information

but I have finally done the tallies for teams and players right up to the Stanley Cup Finals. Sorry this took so long, I've been very busy with projects here as well as helping some friends who are writing/developing a show we hope to do togethere come fall (those of you who don't know, I work for an improvisational comedy theater her in Chicago).

The full player stats both by points and alphabetically by last name are now up in the Knowlege Base.

Here are the two points run downs for those rounds I've yet to post (as I said I crossed these up somehow but the first set here is the Conference Semi Finals and the second is the Conference Finals). In the second listing (in the next post) you will see what players, if any, you have remaining for the Stanley Cup Finals.

Given that inSTAALed and I have the same remaining players and I'm over 100+ ahead of him no matter what happens I'll finish in 1st and him in 2nd. munky appears to have enough of a lead to hold on to 3rd as well as some amazingly improbable things would have to occur for The Wrath to lose that spot with at most 7 games remaining

ROUND 2 (Conference Semi Finals)

16g, 31a, 6ppg, 9ppa = 141 Points
