Me too. I think he's talking about the European Cup of club teams. We were talking about this in the thread about which three leagues you'd like to see in EHM 2007. The European Cup is the number one competition I want included. It'd be great fun to compete in 8-)

Yeah I am...the link works for me though. :oops:.I would love to see it in there on EHM. I did not know it existed in real life, but I had assumed that some sort of Champions League equivalent was out there...

I remember Manchester Storm playing in it years ago. They never really got that far, though :(

I can see the page....just to inform, lol...

Yeps, this is like the Champions League in soccer, right??....I remember about 18 years ago the spanish champion loosing against HC Bern (swiss champion) by 31-2!!!!! :-o

...would be nice to see it in the next EHM!!!!

It's not the same. That was the European Cup, this is the European Champions Cup, a new and smaller version of the old one.

My Frölunda team participated in the tourney this time around, but they had a lot of injuries and were in a slump, so they lost against both Kärpät of Finland and Dynamo Moscow. :(

I know it was the old version of it but it's still in essence the same competition. :dunno:

We also competed in it a few years back and finished 6th overall. Was disappointed that it wasnt in EHM and was even more annoyed that it wasnt in EHM 05. Hopefully the Giants will be in it next season after winning the league
