NHL regular season discussion: Three threads or one?

Owing to how popular the NHL Regular Season 09/10 Discussion Thread was, we decided prior to last season to split the discussion thread into three like so (here is the original thread from October 2010):

1) Official 10-11 NHL Eastern Conference Regular Season Thread - Use this thread to discuss anything relating to Eastern Conference Teams.

2) Official 10-11 NHL Western Conference Regular Season Thread - Use this thread to discuss anything relating to Western Conference Teams.

3) Official 10-11 NHL League-Wide Regular Season Thread - Use this thread to discuss anything that relates to the NHL in general. In other words, it's not specific to any particular team/conference/division.

This certainly seemed to help split up the discussion a little but it was quite clear that there is much greater interest in the East Conference than the West (404 posts v 143 posts over the course of last season). Therefore I thought I would leave it up to you guys to decide how exactly you would like the discussion thread(s) to be organised this season. Simply cast your vote using the poll above.

I had hoped to post this poll last month but got caught up with other stuff on the site but, as it's so early into the season, it's no problem switching to a three thread system if this is what everybody wants.

I'll leave the poll running for the next ten days.

Honestly the three threads wasn't a bad idea but I prefer just one so we can discuss anything we want there.

I don't think we need more than one thread. Real-hockey talk has never been big here
