Change Jersey Colour

I have no idea how to change the colour of a player's jersey to another colour in photoshop. I know photoshop should have a tool to do this very easily, but which is it? and how do I use it?

Say I want to change the colour of the red part of a jersey into black, just simple one colour to one colour. Help needed! Thx!

If you have Photoshop check out my Minstrel Metal CustomColor Template and play around with it There's a big text file along with it all about using adjustment layers. They allow you to change a color and then change it again and then remove it entirely while retaining your original image; it also allows you to paint on the changes with as small or large of a brush as you want.

I really don't think people have "caught" that you can use that template to not only make your own Metal custom color sets as it has the lines and shadings I used for the color accents, but that you can also switch off those layers and in the matter of a few clicks create yourself say a set of red titlepanels to replace your standard blue ones if you'd like

Glad you found it helpful There really are tons of those tutorial sites too; a lot of them are basically indexes that pull together sites that have say 10 different tutorials available so once you start with one you can bounce around checking things out picking up tips almost endlessly. The techique I used to create the "look" of my Etched Steel Skin (link to the screenshot) came from a tutorial on creating textures for example.
