Hello, I've playing this from summer too also participated into the beta, but stupid and impatient I was cos I stopped playing when the "full" version came out cos the game pace was much slower. Now it feels ok expect for the weekends

Feel free to add me same nick as here

If you like my jerseys I can make ones for you, even put more effort into it than I did into mine! Check them out anyways I'm pretty proud of them.

I signed up for this game a few days ago and I'm enjoying it so far.

My first game was not good, I lost 7-1.
My second game (a Challenge) was a complete disaster as I lost 21-2 :help: against a team that has a overall team rating of 218.74 compared to my 122.48.
Also the other team has 15 staff members ( 7 categories) and all I have so far is 1 and he is a security/maintenance guy.

My third game was a regular scheduled game against another team in my league and this time I won 7-3. I did spend some time setting up my lines properly.

So far I'm improving my arena and other facilities.

I haven't yet had the opportunity to hire a coach or any other staff except the one guy I mentioned so my team will start to come around I'm sure. At least you start out in the same boat as everyone else in your league so that's good.

The game does advance in real time so when it says that it takes 1 day to do something then it really it does take 1 day and so on.

It is free, of course you can buy credits:
The PRO pack is an optional element which does not give any direct advantages to its owner but it helps manage the team in a more efficient way and therefore also improve the team's results. The stats tell the story - 90% of all the best managers are PRO pack owners.

I'm not sure yet but I'm kind of thinking I'll put in a few dollars after the 21 days is up, as a new manager you can use the PRO pack features for the first 21 days for free.

Good game, I like it.

Be careful about hiring staff! Don't do it in the beginning! Their wages gonna ruin your finances. What's your team? I could send you some basic tips. Been playing this game for quite a while now. 8-)

Thanks, I could use some advice.

I played a challenge game against a similar ranked team today and lost 7-3, the 14 year old kid sent me a nice message "LOL My team beat yours".
My team hit three goal posts in the game when it was still close, the other team blew it away in the 3rd.

I got off to a rocky start with the game but now I think I'm headed in the right direction.

Once I was able to bid in the market for some better players in a reasonable price range my team started looking better.
So far I replaced 15 players from the 22 you can dress for a game. My first two lines are all new players, also both goalies and 3 players on the third line are new.

Market bidding sure is a interesting process, just when you think you are about to win a bid the price sky-rockets out of your reach.
I wouldn't be surprised that the 15 players I have acquired off the market were probably less than 10% of what I actually made a bid on.

I've increased the capacity of my arena from 400 to 950 and even have a snack bar and fan shop.
The 7 arena facilities are all at level 3 with 3 of those being upgraded to level 4. Level 15 for all facilities is just a far away dream for now.

In my last three league games I've outscored the opposition 29-9 and the team is in 6th place out of 20 league IV teams.
I'm still getting pummelled by the better teams from leagues I II and III in challenge games but they do bring in some desperately needed income.

I sold my first player for 10,000 he went to a team from Iran. :** I was ready to release him but a team actually bought him.

This is a addicting game, it is not as realistic as EHM but it is fun to play. I think of it as a 4X strategy game but with hockey teams and players instead of cities and armies.

The next two games were a 3-1 challenge game loss to a team that has a team strength of 90 (my team is 27) and a league game 3-2 OT shoot-out loss today to the top team in the league. So I can't complain.

My newest player is also my top overall rated at 491, at my noob level it is a extreme challenge to outbid other teams.

All of my bids for a goalie rated somewhere above 400 have not been successful, not even close. My current #1 netminder is 338.

The game tomorrow is against a team that has team a strength of 108 and have 4 league trophies. :help:

Played this game a while ago, it hasn't changed too much.

I just created a new team: Fluisterwoud, division III.5 in the Netherlands.

Yes! I was finally able to get a decent goalie for 1,575,000 rated 433, 4/6, age 22 on the market! His first game was a shut-out win + 3rd star effort.

Two league wins this week, 8-0 and 5-0.

Two challenge games, a 1-1 tie against a slightly better rated team and a 6-0 loss against a team that has a rating of almost 2.5x of my team.

I won't mention the 20-3 pasting I suffered in a third challenge game, nope, not going to mention that one. [-(

In the 4 weeks I've been managing the team the total team strength has gone from 7 to 32!
