The foreign rule is a bit tricky. All the russian teams seems to go by the rule of 5 foreign players while the teams from Latvia, Slovakia, Belarus and Kazakhstan have and uses a lot more foreign players then 5.
It's not tricky. Simply there is a limit of 5 foreigners for Russian teams and no limits for foreign teams. Unfortunately this is not doable in EHM

You cannot have 22 players dressed in the NHL. It is 18 skaters and two goalies maximum

I'm not sure if this should go here but do you guys have an idea whether the NHL league structure divisions/conferences can be changed in order with the (http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=75862) new alignment that was voted yesterday?

Several European leagues have the "licensing" loopholes and I'm aware that several are considering going this route. There have always been foreigner limits in the Swiss and UK leagues but more and more teams (in my seemingly unending amount of research for Manimal) are getting around this rule by providing some players with immigrant licenses. I don't know exactly how they work but for one full year, the player actually does not count toward foreigner limits.

Not at the moment I'm afraid. I know some users (e.g. Lazion) were playing around with things like schedules, etc but I don't know how far he got.
I'd love to try tweaking something like this but at the moment there are so many other things that have to take priority (i.e. helping to get the most out of the CSD Patch by updating roster histories, etc).

To reflect this you can just assign 2nd nationality Switzerland to these players. We did that for the UUDB.

You and others who are expecting it might have some pleasant surprise soon.
Don't expect anything simple like Archi's stuff though, you'll have to deal with ArtMoney and so on

The Memory Patch I have been working on is the same as the CSD Patch but it has an additional function in that it opens a CSV file containing the list of changes you made in ArtMoney. So you put in the CSV file the list of changes you made in ArtMoney and so you don't have to worry about loading ArtMoney each time.
So if Alessandro makes a list of his changes that he wants to make in ArtMoney, he'll be able to load them into my Patch quite easily.
Unfortunately the Patch doesn't quite work correctly yet (the changes are made but the game crashes). I've been busy working on other things like the history updating but I will revisit the Patch and try to get it all working soon.
Don't know if someone wrote it before but here is Czech Extraliga:
League name:Czech Tipsport Extraliga
Number of teams:14 (they are discussing closing league so maybe next season will be more)
No. of regular season games played: 52
Two-line pass rule: <no change>
Icing rule: <no change>
Overtime rule: 5min (4vs4)
Shoot-out rule:3vs3
Maximum players on roster:no limit
Maximum foreigners on roster:6
Maximum foreigners dressed:6
The rules are quite same as Slovakian Tipsport Extraliga
I know someone did QMJHL already.
But the divisions have changed.
Now it's a 3 division league.
I know however that this change cannot be made.
If the teams are to be divided Est-West like in the game, it should look like this:
West: Rouyn-Noranda(QC), Val-D'Or(QC), Gatineau (QC) Blainville-Boisbriand(QC), Sherbrooke(QC), Drummondville(QC), Shawinigan(QC), Victoriaville(QC), Quebec(QC), Chicoutimi(QC)
East: Rimouski(QC), Baie-Comeau(QC), Saint-John(NB), Acadie-Bathurst(NB), Moncton(NB), PEI, Halifax(NS), Cape Breton(NS)
It would make geographical sense.
Hope this helps.
ZaZooM wrote:Archi, does it possible to change KHL history "bronze" column to "regular season winner" column ?
You would need to load ArtMoney and search for "bronze". Then you would have to go through them one by one to find the correct one. However, you might be limited to six letters and so you'd have to somehow abbreviate it. I might also affect the "bronze" column for other leagues.
Hm... About Austrian EBEL league. I tested the patch yesterday, and there is a "problem": foreigners on rosters
The rule says that there can only be max 6 players on roster and this is killing the mojo of playing the league. Can this be changed? I know how to edit line-up rules, but i cant do roster rules.
Thats just one little thing that needs reality check (besides that players on some teams arent accurate to date).
Ok so after checking roster rules for all the various leagues, I stumbled on some commands that do not appear if you check the league's roster rules under the league info section. So I'm looking for you guys to help me figure out what they mean (the values for each league are in the table):
Note: These commands did not appear for any other leagues (that means all playable leagues) so it must be something specific to them.
I really don't know about the first two commands but I'm guessing the 3rd one might be something to do with number of rights of players are allowed to be held and the last command is number of players under contract allowed. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

The numbers for that makes sense.
The 3rd is called reserve lists. 80 players of which 50 under contract for the NHL. 50 man lists for the three junior teams
Thanks a lot! Another tiny piece of the puzzle understood.
It occurred to me that the first command might possibly be linked to the leagues' respective drafts and when I checked the IDs of the drafts they matched! I.e. the ID of the NHL entry draft is 0, WHL bantam draft is 5, etc. Don't know how much use it is gonna be for us though...
