San Fransisco Bulls of the ECHL should be spelled San Francisco Bulls. :-D
Mark Eaton (NY Islanders) was born in Wilmington, Delaware not Wilmington, Massachussetts.
Andrew Gordon (Vancouver Canucks/Chicago Wolves) apparently was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Zack Kassian (Vancouver Canucks) apparently was born in Windsor, Ontario.
Alex Burrows (Vancouver Canucks) for the past few years has been playing RW alongside the Sedins (and doing alright). I'm not postulating switching him completely to RW, but maybe giving him 19 in RW wouldn't be a bad idea.
Tyler Ennis (Buffalo Sabres) has been tried again at C this season, and with some success. I wouldn't switch him completely, but more proficiency there would be nice.
Cody Hodgson (Buffalo Sabres) apparently was born in Toronto, Ontario.
José Théodore (Florida Panthers) – there should be an acute accent over first "e" in his last name (sorry for nitpicking).

Great job on the rosters, Manimal, as always. :notworthy:
Thanks!
The cities drop-down list is a mess so I won't waste my time looking through each entry to find the correct Wilmington for Eaton

I made just a few tweaks in the SM-Liiga to make it more up to date , that cant be the cause of the crash ? can it ?
This is most likely a crash related to the CSD Patch. Did you remember to apply the Patch each time you reloaded your game?

A quick way to test is to create a new game with the CSD Patch and then do a vacation sim until 1st October 2011 (don't exit the game until you reach that date).

Mackenzie Braid should be with the Sudbury Wolves, he was traded to them at the OHL Deadline.

Greg Zanon should be on the Boston Bruins roster (the player he was traded for, Steven Kampfer, is already with the Wild).

First of all, great job everyone. I am so happy to see there still are people who are passionate about this great game.

I have found something that I do not know is a mistake, or something I missed when I installed the database, or simply comes with the fact it is based on a six year old data base: The numbers of NHL-seasons played are wrong for the NHL-players. IE, the game says a player like Justin Abelkader have 0 NHL seasons played when you start the game in 2011, despite the fact his history in the game says otherwise. I have looked around these forums to see if it has been mentioned, but I haven't found anything (but the search engine are not my fried to be honest).

Are you referring to the Player Info section in the Editor? If so, keep an eye on this thread because I'm finalising a tool that will automatically update all of this. I hope to upload it later this evening once I have finished testing.

That's the thing. Nice to hear it might be "easily" fixed. You never cease to amaze me.

I have a question regarding the database. It's not that big of a deal, but I'm just curious. Guys like Zach Parise and Ryan Suter are listed as future RFA's and not UFA's. Why is that? :-k And is there anything that can be done? Like I said, it's not really that big of a deal. I'm just happy to have this awesome database. Thanks again guys! :notworthy:

It relates to the Player Info data not being updated yet. This will be fixed once I release the Player Info Generator tool. The beta of the tool should be released in a few hours. :)

I guess that means I'm going to wait a bit longer before starting my game. Back to more editing future drafts in the mean time!

Some of Roberto Luongo's history is not marked as Playoffs, therefore he holds the record for most wins in a season.

Not exactly related to the roster mistakes, but I didn't know where to post. Teams are setting new NHL records pretty much every day. Is that a known issue, and is there a workaround? Not that problematic, but it fills up the news updates with irrevelant stuff.

Corey Perry's current ability is higher than his potential ability, I'm not sure but I think this is causing him to play worse than he should?

Thanks for spotting it. I have no idea how that happened.
It would make him regress, I think.

Hi!

First, I will express my gratitude for the great job you guys are doing, well done!

I have a problem when i play in the SEL with my team Brynäs IF. When I start in 2011 with the CSD Patch both Nashville and Ottawa decides to recall Matthias Ekholm and Jakob Silfverberg from their loans, is there any way around this? I would want them to stay through the whole season as they do IRL.

And, another thing, Colorado contracted my U18-player Henrik Messfeldt (undrafted and born in March-93) during the preseason, are they really supposed to be able to do that? Should't they wait for the next draft?

Best regards, ElPayaso

In real NHL there is a window for guys who are draft eligible still but have been passed over to sign with an NHL team. That is how the Canucks got a couple of guys...one I believe being Kellan Tochkin. That window if I am correct is right in training camp....so by real league rules, good on Colorado. BY EHM...not so sure. Likely it is one of those guys that Manimal was searching for and just did not find in time for this release. There are alot fewer of them though in this version.

There is no good way to get around the European loans with NHL teams. If I leave them as signed with their European teams, then they'll loose their NHL rights. I tried having them as future transfers but it did not help much. If anyone has a solution for it then I'd be very happy.

As Batdad said, there are a some younger players in the game that can be signed before being drafted. It is due to me overwriting former players and there is no way to see it in the editor.
Nowadays, I am only creating new players from scratch.

First of all great job on the rosters =D>

Two things I've noticed so far :

1. The World Championship host in 2011/2012 is Still Russia ( like in 2006/2007 ) Should be hosted by Finland ,
is there any way to modify this ? and to add is it possible to add shootouts for the early groups in the World Championships ?

2. I've started two games so far ( SM-League (HIFK) and NHL with the Blackhawks

There must be something wrong with the league records ? New records (League) seem to appear almost every day ?
Is this intentional or something else ? :dunno:

All the other aspects of the rosters work fantastically , keep up the great work .

Best regards

There is no way to edit the early WC hosts. Please have a look to my league patch for shootouts

oh , that's a shame . I have read about the league patch but I seem to remember it "only" included the U-20 WC , not the senior WC :dunno: So does it have the early/pre group shootout rule included ?

It would be great if people could report these players in this thread if they see them in the game so it can be fixed. I'll keep my eyes open.
