The league has struck down what to me sounds like a nonsensical thing anyways that would have forced teams to resign their free agents within the next six days...
Under the new CBA teams were supposed to have a 'freeze' on resigning their own to-be FAs from June 15th to the opening of the NHL Free Agency period on July 1. With teams still playing it seems silly at best to me to have this added artificial deadline. What's the point
