Football Manager 2010 For $1 - Why Not EHM??

Post by oz88 »

hi I just brought football manager 2010 for one dollar ($1.00), but why EHM 2007 still cost $30?
I wish EHM 2007 drop price to $1.00

I know, it's a bit frustrating (and probably puts off at least some potential customers). It is because it is only a digital download where eLicense manage the licensing system. SI don't really have any involvement in the sale any more.

However, if you're a big fan hockey then it's well worth the price considering we have the CSD Patch, Manimal Rosters, and the countless addons users are still creating to this day.

i didn't think you could still purchase EHM07. I agree that they should put it on steam or just make available for $5.00 ....or free. It really could make it grow. At this point though, i think its quite clear that SI wants no part in a hockey sim again and that's too bad.

I admittedly don't understand how, once sales have basically stopped, slashing the price on your game to get more sales is a bad thing (how is 0 sales at price x better than non-zero sales at price x-y?). Especially when it's delivered digitally and there's no physical copy overhead. SI is hardly the only company that doesn't get this though...
