Part-time contract

Post by weeedmaster »

for first time i decided to manage a low minor team. now negociating with free agents for my new season, I see that many players request for a part-time contract...what is the impact of signing a part-time contract? Does that mean the player will not be avalaible for every game?

No impact that I can see, other than sign for cheaper. Means they have a day job I guess.

The biggest difference there is really is that they won't train as much and as such do not progress that much as full-time players.

For a minor team that is not a problem though because you won't be handling much high potential players anyways.
