Introducing: Minstrel Chromeleon Skin!
Now available is my latest skin for EHM; this one is a cool Chrome look with easy on the eyes greys and blues. No more bright yellow and orange text! Completely 'from scratch' skin with all graphic elements transformed. I created the new titlepanels and sidepanels as well as the new buttons, icons, scrollbars, etc. I even created my own 'stealth' buttons.
It also features 'vintage card style' default player logos. This will keep your whole game in the card style even if that player/staff doesn't have a custom card! I seriously believe that if you give this skin half an hour of playing time to get used to the look and you'll never want to switch again to have the yellow and orange burn into your brain.
It's called 'Chromeleon' because like with my Metal skins this is just the base skin; soon it will be available in many colors where this skin is the default chrome! You can then match it up with your team's or just your favorite color. They will be made available in the next week or two. This is only a text version that I ran before completing/polishing the skin but just as an example here is a Blue Chromeleon titlepanel/sidebar combo I created for Tasku's favorite team the Espoo Blues. Stay tuned!
I was going to release this when I had the colorized sets finsihed but this design is dedicated to my father who lost a seven year battle with prostate cancer on this day two years ago; so I decided I would go ahead and make the chrome version available today instead of waiting.

Okay, again... have you read Arch's guide to set up the options on your WinZip correectly? Beccause you are the only person having this problem and I believe that the Guide will lead you to a solution of it. He posted it for you months ago, before Challenge 2 even started. It is in an Announcement thread at the top of this forum, called "Announcement: Guide: Installing addons, using WinZip, running multiple DBs"
I don't use WinZip or I'd try to help you further but from reading the guide myself it seems that you are a checkbox away from not having any problems.

Dude, this skin is the bee's knees
I can't wait for a Bruins colour scheme - although I will be torn between that scheme and the blue scheme.

Darn right! The guys at Eurohost have been very good to usKris wrote:EDIT: Your server seems to be GODLIKE, it only took me about 1-2 seconds to download the file. I'm getting speeds up to 4mb/s.

Hola amigos
Just to let you all know that the Custom Colors for Chromeleon (where the skin got it's name as it will be able to display in many colors
) are in progress and will be released with fully customized versions for all thirty NHL teams soon. They will look much better than the early preview versions I've posted as well
The changes you will see for each according to their team's colors are:

- A colored chrome shading of an accent portion of the titlepanel
- Replacement buttons with team-colored chrome and background
- Custom sidepanels; the black 'backdrop' will take on team color
- Chromed team logo will be 'welded' onto the decorative mid section element
- Also included will be alternate chromed logos for each team so you can pick which to use

Yeah, it's just a "design element"
It was a carryover from my expirementing with the look of the sides and looking forward to the chromed team logos. I then echoed it "behind" the sidepanel (those are actually on the background file) to pull it together. As a "design element" it's there to tie together the sidepanel with the look of the titlepanel; otherwise the screen looks too much like three separate segments. Oh, and I thought it looked cool

I have a lot of the elements of the Custom Colors prepared and have refined the look quite a bit. Just wanted to let people know I'm going to start working on them again next week or so.
I actually broke my collarbone at work several weeks ago
so I've had limitied usage of my left arm due to a sling that is coming off soon
Not that you need two arms to do image work but it sure as hell speeds things up
Sorry for the delay.
