Forum rules
Data Editing Forum: Editing the game, databases or saved games. Home of the EHM Editor and the EHM Assistant.

Game Add-ons Forum: Database projects, graphics and sounds. Any discussion which does not relate to editing databases or saved games.

Game Knowledge Discussion: Attributes, coaching, drafting, scouting, tactics and training/practice.

Rights for Chl Players

hi i was just wondering, if there is a site or something that has chl (whl,qmjhl,ohl) player rights, and how long they last for , or if anyone knows for that matter

CHL rights last as long as the GM of the CHL team holds on to them, or the player turns 21 whichever comes first. Some AI GMs in the game will release players rights once they are signed with an NHL team, depending on their rosters...especially if that player is 20 and eligible to play in the AHL.

ok got ya, so the best thing to do is every player that gets drafted in to the whl,ohl,qmhjl , just put that team in rights
and the game will do the rest.

yeah. If you are updating those leagues re their drafts, that is what you would do. But once you start a game, the AI GM may drop the rights to some and pick up others from the free agency lists.
