Forum rules PLEASE NOTE: ADVERTISING A LEAGUE/COMPETITION/WEB SITE/FORUM IS NO LONGER PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE BLUE LINE. We have had too many people take liberties with this privilege; signing up simply to advertise their site and not actually contributing to the community. We also see a lot of bumping of threads which is really just spamming the site. Anybody that advertises anything on TBL will be permanently banned for spamming.
There is a season...who knew? So are we all still prepared to take part? Or do we need to find new owners?

Actually...my team is only average in my opinion now. Guys got older, and just not as strong. Best defense I have ever had. goaltending is okay, but my Centers suck. My LW/RW is okay. Balanced...but not outstanding anywhere.
When I look at my first opponents roster...I would think...I am going to get manhandled.

Not by me. Well, I got players that are up for a break through year but I lack depth and got a bunch of players that are more likely to regress quite heavily.
What team are you? Cause it is the glasgow goons who look formidable to me. Crosby, J Staal, H Sedin, Granlund, St Louis, Neal, Yandle, Byfuglien, Keith, Justin Schultz. His goaltending is iffy with Halak and Hedberg. A half time starter and a back up...but man oh man. That roster is amazing. Gonna have to win PIM, SHP and all goalie categories just to have a chance.
We shall see...but I feel like I am in trouble in my first game.

I got Zetterberg for an underachieving Burrows who was even benched a game or so. After the trade Zetterberg went into a slump and then got injured and for you Burrows went on a hot streak instead. I traded the injured slumping Zetterberg for a injured "soon to get back" Toews but he stayed injured and Zetterberg came back and scored over 1 p/g. Nice chain of trades eh?
I got high hopes for Toews though!
Suter was rumored to go to a defensive team while Wideman had some stats I needed more and was rumored to sign with a really offensive team, Flames was not what I had in mind though...
I must have got Burr from someone else. Because I never had Zetterberg...and I never would have dealt him for Burrows.
Manimal--Catch Up not around much anymore, and Justintinov never around...not sure what to do. Give them the first week and if do not show?
Actually lets advertise for new owners and see what we get. Send Catch Up and Justin notes telling them if do not hear anything by Friday we will be booting them and bringing in the new guys. Explain that in the ad for two new guys as well.

Yep goalies are probably going to be my achilles heel, think ill need to try and upgrade through trading methinks
