I've been playing EHM 2007 for about 2 years now... And I only recently thought to search for a forum of some type that I could get help from. Needless to say, this forum is amazing. The amount of add ons and things like that on this site blows my mind. So I'm pretty overwhelmed with all this new stuff I want to download, especially the roster updates. I downloaded a bunch of stuff then realized I have no idea how to install it. So, so far, all I've done is run the 3.0.4 patch. So I don't know where to start really, but I guess I'll start by showing you what I downloaded. http://i.imgur.com/MY88v.png <-- That's a picture of the add ons I downloaded, but I have no idea how to actually use them. So basically, if anyone can explain to me how to mod my game, I'd really appreciate it. And also, the reason why I started to look for a forum was cause I was getting all the first picks of the draft through trades. But then my players don't progress. I have no idea how to groom the young players to get better so that's my second question. Thanks in advance for any help.
Edit: By the way, I realize all the files are .zip. I know I have to extract them, my question is where do they go?

Re: Installing the mods
The guide is just a guide, put it wherever you want, I put mine in the folder above my EHM folder so I can keep track, same with the attribute tracker, the research sheet, etc
the TSH files are training files, so go to your documents folder and throw them in there. Every game you have will be able to use them by just going to practise, then selecting "load"
the manimal rostor update you want to extract to a folder, like "Manimal" or something, then put the folder inside the database folder, where your application is. At start up to will be able to select "default" or any folder in that folder, so you can edit anything you want, while still having X amount of databases to play from
for pictures then you want to put them in their relevent areas, just like the database, but inside the pictures folder. Im not sure of the structures of any of them, but as long as they are an image file, then they just go in their folder, like rinks, players, flags, etc
if its an exe or application, you make need to run it in the same folder as the database, or the application depending on context. Otherwise im not sure, youll need to take it up with whoever made them or whoever has used them

This might help you too: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... :_EHM_2007
Some of those things in your screenshot you won't need if you're using the latest Manimal Rosters (v5.0) - i.e. all of those MET editors and the Player Info Generator. All those have already been applied to Manimal Rosters - so there's no need for you to do that.
I've noticed that you've downloaded the 2011/12 Manimal v4.2b Rosters. If you want the latest rosters (and it includes a couple of bug fixes), you should download the 2012/13 v5.0 rosters: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 77&t=10091 The rosters come in two "flavours": There is a Custom Start Date Patch version and a 2006-adjusted version. If you are going to use the Custom Start Date Patch (this allows you to use the 2012/13 starting season in game) then download the corresponding version of the rosters. If you don't want to use the patch (this will mean you will be starting the game in the 2006/07 season) then download the 2006-adjusted version.

Oh, wow, thanks for the info and for linking me to that. I appreciate it. I never new there was a The Blue Line wiki, it's very helpful. And yeah I was looking for the latest rosters, but I'm dumb.

Re: Installing the mods
So I found the solution to all mod-installing-related questions: http://www.thebreakaway.net/forums/show ... -structure
As long as you understand EHM's folder structure, you should be able to install all mods by yourself with no problem. Thanks for all the help though, but I think with this guide I won't have to keep asking so many questions about the mods. So, everybody wins lol.
Edit: I just realized it's pretty similar to what archibalduk's link. I think using his link and mine in conjunction should resolve all mod-installing-related questions...
