The 2 errors above seem to happen when i have finland selected... and the following errors i get when i have russia selected.

v3.0.4 russian_super.cpp 1503, the difference is when i have finland selected i get the 2 errors and ehm crashes... when i have russia selected i get that error but ehm doesnt crash

When reporting difficulties/errors, you must provide the following information:
1. The version of Windows you are using (and ideally whether it is 32 or 64 bit).

- windows xp, as far as bit does i have no idea of how to find out

2. The version of EHM you are using (i.e. v3.0.3, v3.0.4, etc).

- 3.0.4

3. The edition of EHM you are using (eLicense or CD-ROM).

- e-license

4. If you receive any warning/error messages in the Patch window, please provide a complete copy of the messages you receive.

- none, says patch sucessful

5. Specific details of what the problem is. It’s not enough to say simply that it crashes! I need to know at what point in-game it crashes and anything you clicked on that resulted in the crash.

only crash is when I try to start a game with the new rosters (TBL rosters/Maminal rosters) with foreign leagues selected. (probably the cause is Finland, because the message is: v3.04 fin_suomi.cpp 1333" "v3.04 fin_suomi.cpp 1559" then it crashes.

*when i use old 2007 rosters and no patch the game works fine... Ive tried every art money step through every 18 pages of this thread..

* I set my ehm 07 as a vacation gm unassigned and anywhere between sept and october the game crashed and closed... That was based on using the XP edition patch and art money...

Does EHM load up when you click on the Launch and Patch button?

Have you placed the CSD Patch in the same folder as your ehm2007.exe?

Did you remember to use the Run as Admin setting when loading the Patch?

Yes I did all however the 2nd question I copied and pasted the CSD Patch in the folder which could be the problem? I did this as it would not allow me to install in the EHM Folder.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Is the CSD Patch exe file in the same folder as your ehm2007.exe file?

Okay, that's fine.

Have you tried first loading the game (so that you are at the main menu screen - the screen with the New Game / Load Last Game / etc buttons) and then using the Apply Patch Only button?

Are you running version of 3.0.4 of EHM?

What is the file size of your ehm2007.exe file?

My CSD patch crashes the second I start it up. I'm running it as an administrator. I have EHM 2007 3.0.4, it's running out of my main EHM 2007 directory. I have the newest Microsoft .NET Framework as well as the latest C++ Visual. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong, here. The patch used to run absolutely flawlessly on my computer for years. I had to re-install my EHM installation and ever since then I've been completely unable to open the patcher at all. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate Edition. I've made no changes to the best of my knowledge to my installation other than re-installing the program. I'm not really sure what else I can do to fix this.

Is this a common issue at all, or is there any form of workaround for this issue? Thanks!

No chance, I'm afraid. I've tried to get it running with the CD version before but have never succeeded. It seems the CD exe is encrypted/compiled in a different way. :-(

I love EHM 2007. I had not played it for a long time and just reinstalled it a few days ago and was super pumped to see you guys had roster updates. But I am now super sad because I can't get it to work. I bought the game, so I have a liscense, but the game keeps giving me trouble. I installed it from a CD, which I then read meant I couldn't use the patch. I then erased it and downloaded it from the internet but it was still giving me the same error message! Oh no! Do you know how to solve this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

DEjan
What error message?

What version of the game did you download from the internet? A licensed version or a cracked version? I haven't tested the Patch with the cracked version and I don't offer any support for the crack as it is illegal and the game remains for sale.

Hi there !

I'm pretty new to the CSD patch, usually I used to play with the 2006 non patched rosters. This feature is really amazing, thanks and congratulations for this work !

I have neverthless a question, I hope you guys will be able to help to find out :

I started a new season using the CSD patch, but after I save and quit the game, I lose a lot of space on my harddrive (several GO after each utilisation of EHM). So, I'm a huge informatic noob, but I read that the patch use the RAM memory to trick EHM. So I guess it takes space and this is why I lose so much space on my harddisk.

I would like to know if there is a possibility not to lose a lot of space despite using the patch. That's not a problem for the moment, but if each time I lose several GO while playing EHM, it going to be a problem anytime soon.

Sorry if this question seems stupid, but I'm not good at computer stuffs :thdn:

Thanks in advance for your help !

Hello

Say I load up a game using the 1974 database and the CSD Patch, play until January 1975 and then save...when I come back to load the game up again using the Patch, do I set the date for 1974 or 1975?

Thanks

Doomski - Sorry I completely missed your post previously. The CSD Patch does not take up any hard drive space. It simply changes years in EHM. It doesn't increase the size of saved games as far as I know (my saved games are the usual 100 - 200 Mb size).

Nino - You need to keep it as 1974. You always set it to your original start date.

No worries Archie, better late than never ! Thank you very much for your answer. It seemed odd to me actually, I thought it could come from the patch because I lost a lot of space at the same time I first tried it. As I said I'm very bad at computer's stuffs, so I get worried very easily haha. Thanks again

And again, great patch! I take a lot of pleasure with it !

So I just downloaded EHM 2007, as well as the retro launcher so I could start during the 2012 season. Problem is when I run the retro launcher i get a message that eventually ends with "Unable to apply patch, press enter to exit". I have the file in the same folder as my EHM file, tried deleting and re-downloading and not sure what else to do to get the patch working properly?

Just use the CSD Patch, you don't need to use the Retro Launcher for a 2012 start date...

You only need to use the Custom Start Date Patch. You do not need to use the Retro Launcher.

The download contains two applications and a read me file.
One application is the CSD patch, the other the Retro Launcher https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=a0fa740e ... C5C5%21586

Put the CSD Patch application in the same folder as the game...for me it's C Drive - Program Files(x86) - Sports Interactive - NHL EastsideHockeyManager2007
Now click on/open the CSD Patch, set the date to 2012 and click on the appropriate Launch button to start your game

Ok, so I keep having the same issue come up with the CSD patch.

I'm running EHM 3.0.4 with the latest roster patch.

I can start it up and run it no issue (although curiously it only starts with the apply patch, no other way) but once I save and close the game, and later my computer, when I try to load the game again (I run both the game and CSD as admin, it's not July 1 or later) I get hit with a slew of errors and my file is kaput.

I'm dying for a solution because I don't know how many times I've had to restart my games.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just to check: When you re-load EHM, are you using the Apply Patch button before you click on the Load Saved Game button? You must apply the patch before your re-load your saved game.
