Not sure if it's a mistake or just not doable in the game but Savard's health status is listed as "bad concussion, back in 3 months", which is wrong. He's done. Not announced officially and probably won't be for a while due to cap exemption/LTIR/insurance implications, but he's not coming back, he's still not even able to live a fully normal life years after the incident.

Same with Chris Pronger and Manny Malhotra and maybe someone else, too.
Alessandro, can you put these three with the longest possible injury in game? Or do you think we should retire them?

Alexander Wennberg. Erik Gustafsson

Djurgården -> Frölunda

Is it possible to start a game today with the current roster but still before the draft? Would be nice to start of at the 2013 season but still before the draft

I just started a game for testing purposes and one of the first messages is "Chris Pronger inducted into the HHOF" :-o
So it appears at least Pronger has been retired at the beginning.

Unfortunately EHM doesn't allow NTCs/NMCs to be added via "direct editing"
At start-up the game automatically assigns NTCs to players based on (IIRC) age, loyalty and reputation....
As I recall (based on some old notes I have) for a player to recieve a NTC at start-up the player has to be at least 32 years old, with a loyalty value of at least 16, and a current reputation of at least 145

5.3 is missing Andrei Loktionov on the New Jersey Devils.

Also one of NJ's unsigned prospects, Patrick Daly, no longer plays for the Wisconsin Badgers.

http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/2012/4/ ... -st-thomas

Alex Kerfoot, also an unsigned prospect of NJ, should be going to Harvard after the 2012-2013 season.

Stephen Gionta should be C/LW/RW
Ryan Carter should be LW/C

darn it! I knew I should have checked the AHL teams too, when I looked for errors.
We haven't had anyone looking at college stuff in a while
positions will be updated in the NHL re-rating that is being done now.(at least I think it is)

You are wrong.
Cody Payne is only signed in the OHL. His rights are with the Stars.
The draft picks have been changed
Are you using the correct version of the db?

Hi guys. I've checked this amazing update, when i found something. In the austrian league, there is a hungarian team IRL BUT in the game this team ( Alba volan fevita aka Székesfehérvár) is not in the league. Can you fix this? THX

Search for the superpatch - that's everything you need

The league structures are hardcoded - hence we cannot alter the number of teams in a league from their original 2006 structures.

The superpatch mentioned by Alessandro can be found in this thread IIRC: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 9&start=25

I was looking at the Buffalo Sabres in 5.3c and none of the draft picks from the trade deadline show up when I start a new game. I can see them in the extra config file. Also, some of the picks in the extra config file are not showing up with their respective teams. Example, Columbus has the 1st rd pick from LA but not the one from NYR. There are a lot of teams where these picks are not showing up.

So it looks like this is a game issue rather than a mistake. Bruins72 and Timmy have been looking at this and have found that the 2006 Non-Patched Rosters have this problem. So this rules out a CSD Patch-related issue. We'll need to track back through the DBs to see where this issue first cropped up (so we can compare the most recent issue-free version of the DB with v5.3c) in the hope we can figure out what is going wrong. I think Tim is going to take a look at this, but I'll also find time to look into it too.

I'm wondering whether the game can cope with only a certain number of pick swaps - or if there is a pick that is being swapped multiple times within the extra_conig (and the game doesn't like it perhaps)...

I figured it out Archi, I pm'd you and B72 the solution. It's basically just some typo's regarding the style of quotation marks used.

Well done and thank you! I'll go through the extra_configs later today and will fix the quotation marks for both the 2006 and CSD rosters (I'll get a new set of rosters online this evening). I'll pass on your message to Manimal about a couple of the picks being missing.

Thanks again!
