Suvorovs Europe Start

After the not so good start in the Canadian Major Juniors this time Oleg Suvorovs start with taking over the Job of Karlskrona IF .. swedish team in the 3rd division of the scandinavian league. Speaking of leagues, i use my roster file which is pretty much a fantasy file with real players. Additional i used several of the files, patches of this site. Pretty cool stuff and thanks to all guys.

Simulated Leagues:

Champions Hockey League, Continental Cup -> in my excel file those competitions have a high rating

Central Hockey League -> a few nice north american teams (former ECHL mostly) placed in Europe, hopefully they will send teams to the CHL and/or CC
Alpenliga -> 7 teams from germany, 1 team from austria, switzerland, czech, slovakia, french, slovenia, italy
Scandinavian League (3 levels) -> mainly sweden and finland, but also danmark and norwegian teams
EIHL
Asian Oceanic League -> teams of bad countries like australia, mexico, japan
OHL, Canadian Junior Hockey League, US Junior League
World Junior League
Erste Bank Eishockeyliga -> Bolzano and Jesenica instead of Medvescak (KHL 2nd level) and Salzburg (Alpenliga)
Czechoslovakian League -> Czech Republic and Slovakian
Kontinental Hockey League (2 Levels)
French Magnus League -> Teams from France and Italy
Dannorsk League -> Best Teams from Norway and Danmark and one icelandic team
Nationalliga A -> Switzerland
NHL
AHL
University League -> Canada and USA
ECHL
College League -> Some more College teams from the USA

Well i took over in Karlskrona, most of you wont know most names there. But we have some experience out of the NHL here as well.

Most famous players:

Hannes Hyvönen
Bates Battaglia
Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre

Especially GP has always been a player i wanted in not so strong teams.

Still i wanted to change the roster a bit so i sold (for nothing) or released several players among them were also key players:
Tomi Pöllanen, Jesper Jensen and Hannes Hyvönen which cold have played in the first line

on the other hand i signed and bought myself nice players
Andreas Lindh, Henrik Bergenström, Tomas Wallgren, Mattias Wennerberg won't tell you much though. Final piece has been Jesse Schultz, though he makes the most money on my team, but doesn't play much this season due to the Foreign player limit (Grand-Pierre, Battaglia and Kent McDonell have priority)

Well i missed the playoffs barely .. with 3 losses in the last 3 games

OKay both teams of the 3rd division who cam in the playouts were able to promote ... the two teams going down are Frisk-Asker and Odense Bulldogs. Promoted were Rauman Lukko and surprisingly Lorenskog IK.

Divisions will be mixed around next season. We are looking forward to know out opponents. It looks like we will have a different team next season as several of our key players don't want to resign. We were able to sign Grand-Pierre and Battaglia to an extension so that's very good. But Kent McDonell (Best goalscorer, Most assists, Most Points) isn't staying with us as it looks like. Timo Leinonen our backup keeper is retiring, Linder one of our best defensive defenseman and Hecquefeuille offensive defender aren't renewing their contracts either. Same as quite a lot of our depth players.

The continental Cup was won by Donbass Donetsk who demoted from KHL2. The Champions Hockey League was won by AK Bars Kazan who won in Shootout against ZSC Lions from Switzerland. And the NHL has been won by the Chicago Blackhawks.
