I'm fairly new to this forum, so I'm not sure if this is the place to put this, but anyways, as most of you probably know, the NHL has been reduced to 4 divisions, with many teams joining different divisions, and the way teams enter the playoffs is different now (top three teams in each divisions make it into the playoffs plus two wild cards per conference).
Since so many things in EHM 07 can be changed like the Thrashers turning into the Jets, rules being changed, and the starting year, I was wondering if it was possible for someone to make a patch or mod or something to change the the NHL in-game when starting in 2013 so that it will be like the real 2013 NHL.

as far as I know the game is hard coded so it cant be done unless i guess some one makes a patch

It's pretty darn hard work to modify league structures. We have a patch that adds two teams to the Austrian league (here's the link) but that's as far as we've got. Hobbit13 is the guy who knows how to modify these things, but unfortunately he often disappears from the forums for a while. That's not to say somebody else won't achieve the same thing, but I don't think it'll be any time soon I'm afraid.
