Logos and facepacks

Post by Hybrid_Theory_79 »

So I'm playing on a Mac and have installed the facepacks correctly and according to install directions. Yet none of the logos or facepacks are showing when I start a new game. Anyone else having this issue? or have a missed a step

I just got it to work. I reinnstalled the game, full version. Then i deleted the logo folders in the default data/quickstarts_major/graphics folder. Then I copied the new logofolders and player_pic folders from my download folder to the graphics folder. Started a new game... now it works!!! :D

I just tried that and nothing. What the Dickens. I must suck at this. I never had this much trouble with EHM packs.

Unfortunately it's the only place. However, here is a direct link to the Logo Megapack which doesn't require registration: https://anonfiles.com/file/6abf2f67934a ... 7bb171accd

Thanks a lot, Archie !

And thanks for asking, Phil. I'm doing pretty good.. It must be over 1,5 since my last visit at this site. How fast the time can go...

FHM14 - Historic Portraits-Facepack V1.5 (1967-71)

Post by Duranium »

-Update went faster than expected-

For all the historical mode fans here´s the download link for V1.5 of my Historical Portrait/Facepack.
http://ul.to/7i5dktc8

Some Info:
(1)
V1.5 starts with the expansion season 1967-68 and covers every database player from 1967 up to 1971 where i was able to find pics for.
(2)
All portraits are 118x150 and in portrait/Trading card style (see samples below), not player pics with transparent background - that means the pics are overlapping the teamlogo in the upper left corner - if you enjoy the historical modes with a full assortment of player photos i´d assume you can live with that little flaw.
Although Jeff gave me valuable hints to make the teamlogo more visible, it´s just too much additional work for me as i´m planning to cover ALL players from 1947 - at least 1989
(3)
V2.0 will probably come within the next 14 days including all players up to the 1978 Entry Draft

Here we go with some samples....

Great job! I know how hard it is to source decent images from past decades.

Yeah, as I'm working on a facepack for the 98DB, most of them are really hard to find and many of them are low quality. But it's better than nothing. :-)

tbh, for league play in the 60´s,70´s or even earlier i really don´t want crisp images - having pics in kinda used or not mint style gives the game a certain vintage feeling

I have installed the packs and everything worked for me. Make sure you have the directories in our saved games/graphics/ directories. Team_logo, League_logo etc...

FHM14 - Historic Portraits-Facepack V1.77 (1967-77)

Post by Duranium »

For all the historical mode fans here´s the download link for V1.77 of my Historical Portrait/Facepack (1974 pics)
http://ul.to/oqcrryw3

When d/l is finnished unzip to:
C:\Users\....\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2014\data\saved_games\'your saved game'.lg\graphics\player_pics

Some Info:
(1)
V1.77 starts with the expansion season 1967-68 and covers every database player (incl. all WHA rosterplayers 1972) from NHL´s first expansion 1967 up to the 1977 Entry Draft where i was able to find pics for.
(3)
V1.81 will probably come within the next 14 days including all players up to the 1981 Entry Draft
(4)
If anyone finds pics of missing players (although they´ll be very hard to come by) don´t hesitate to send them to me or post them on the forums.

This might have been answered, but I am still getting a bit frustrated.
Here are my issues with the game and face - and logo packs.
1. I am playing on a Mac
2. I have put the face packs and logo packs in the correct folders (quickstart_game->majors.quick AND opening day.quick) like the instructions said
3. I have started a new game

Even though I did all these things, no logos or face packs appear. Only the logos that come with the game.I even tried to delete all the old folders, and then putting in the new ones, but to no avail... any suggestions?

I took a quick look on the FHM Boards, and found a thread that'll hopefully help you http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/f ... logos.html
