Hmmm...AFAIK those in the Extra Config file cause a player to retire completely (i.e. they turn into Staff and/or are regened)...but I'm not aware of anything that connects to a player still playing but being "retired from international duty" (Manimal might be)pantsukki wrote:I think I've seen some retirements set in the config files, not sure though.nino33 wrote:Is that something the game does automatically? I think you need to have Russia selected for Kuznetsovs rights to stick. I have no idea as to why McCollums rights didn't show up.RomaGoth wrote:Thought I would mention this here as well. The rights to Evgeny Kuznetsov (Washington Capitals) are gone when starting a new game and he is a free agent. Also, the rights to Thomas McCollum are not with the Red Wings despite the database showing he belongs to them. These issues are both in the 6.1 database.

I've changed him now. This will lead to the name base getting more Finnish guys called Barkov or Komarov, but that is no big dealjhcjobpb wrote:Ahh okay! Well maybe you chould switch his nationality to Finnish, and 2nd nationality to Russian (now it's the other way around). Because he has the Russian flag now.
There were a few international team retirements that I removed. I don't remember if Selänne or Nedved was among themnino33 wrote: Hmmm...AFAIK those in the Extra Config file cause a player to retire completely (i.e. they turn into Staff and/or are regened)...but I'm not aware of anything that connects to a player still playing but being "retired from international duty" (Manimal might be)

Did you change Barkov's first name Manimal? It's just my opinion to change it but I want to hear what you think.

I have picked up some other notes about the game aswell but I'll send those later on closer to a new roster update.

Re: TBL Rosters 2013-2014; Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
Thanks for these rosters.
I usually select to play NHL but I found few things.
When I was looking at Russian Super League (KHL in game) the affiliations of some clubs were not correct.
For example Admiral Vladivostok doesn't have any club from lower leagues (the club has two affiliations in real life) or SKA Saint Petersburg has even three clubs instead of two, it's not case only of these clubs what I found out...
Also checked the Czech Elite Hockey League where the club HC Mountifield České Budejovice is still there, but club's playing in the Czech lower league due financial reasons and changed name to ČEZ Motor České Budějovice (HC Motor in short) and substituted by Hradec Králové that started to play 2013/14 season as HK Mountfield Hradec Králové (Mountfield HK) with players that were originally played in Čěské Budějovice what I know. Switch the České Budejovice for Hradec Kralové - with players and staff of course
Maybe this could be helpful for fix those rosters

Admiral Vladivostok > Rubin Tyumen
SKA should have VMF, SKA-1946 and Silver Lions ... however yes, maybe you can axe the affiliation with Silver Lions

Re: TBL Rosters 2013-2014; Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
Prior to this season the Swedish leagues removed the "2 Non-EU Player-limit" and the teams now often include 3, 4 or even more americans and canadiens. But that limit is still in the game, wich mean if you play with most of the swedish teams you have to get rid of several prominent players, just to be allowed to play.
Is that rule something that's able to remove?

Wait. Non-Russian KHL teams affiliations are missing in yuor table, but they are correct in the DB.
Also, Ozzman, I suggest you to try the super patch. It doesnt remove the swedish limits unfortunately, but it gives better rules in europe

I added some 2nd nationalities to work around the problem right away, but after that you're left to the old rulesOzzman wrote:Prior to this season the Swedish leagues removed the "2 Non-EU Player-limit" and the teams now often include 3, 4 or even more americans and canadiens. Brent Burns had a consistency of 18 as a forward. I fixed that now. (after that I check that no other forward has it over 10)

Re: TBL Rosters 2013-2014; Mistakes, omissions, tweaks etc
I changed the consistency of all d-men to mirror that of the forwards, and after simming seasons several times the results are much more realistic. I did the same thing with the UUDB 6.1 and the results were awesome. Very, very close to realistic, a few top heavy players (Malkin, Crosby, etc.) but most of the other players had very realistic stats. I believe that all forwards and d-men should have consistency ratings between 1-10, although the ones I used for the UUDB were between 3-7 and it worked great. I found that the goalies were way overpowered, however, when leaving their consistency at normal levels (most of them were between 12-18). I recommend dropping those a little bit, but not as low as the forwards/d-men otherwise we could have high scoring again, much like the original db.jhcjobpb wrote:Brent Burns had a consistency of 18 as a forward. Sounds good. Needs a lot of testing of course. Right now we keep it as it is. Later on it's easy to drop all D-men's consistency with 50% if needed.RomaGoth wrote:Thoughts?

I've always heard of Nathan MacKinnon as a generational skating talent, but his 8-6-8-4 in the leftmost column doesn't seem to quite bear that out.

I don't remember because I edited my DB a while ago but I think Nathan was random in the last DB. Or if he wasn't he was just really weak.
