Hey friends,
I'm attempting to edit the 2014 draft picks of NHL clubs via the Pre-Game editor extra.config function, however my changes never process and reflect in-game. I've simply copied / pasted existing entries from the extra.config file and edited appropriately. After saving the db, and starting a new game with the modified db, the changes never reflect. Here's an example of my syntax: "DRAFT_PICK_SWITCH" "St. Louis Blues” ”Buffalo Sabres” 1 2014. I'm assuming this translates to Buffalo receives St. Louis's 2014 1st rounder? I've also tried inputting the text in reverse, however neither reflect in-game. Does anyone have some advice or perhaps an up-to-date extra.config file for 2014-15 drafts? I know an updated roster will be out soon, however I want to play Buffalo with all of their current picks. Also, I'm using the CSD patch, EHM version 3.04. Thanks.

Does your extra_config file in the editor show "DEBUG_MODE" on the top line? It has to
Always run the editor as administrator
Try to write the line without copy-pasting it from somewhere. There was a time when I wrote them on a different sheet and copied them into the db and they didn't turn up because they were written in the wrong font or something. That was not visible in the extra_config so you can't tell.
BTW, in version 6.0 and 6.1 we have all ordinary trades of picks included. The conditional ones are not. There is no guarantee Buffalo will receive St. Louis's first rounder. They need one of three conditions to be met first

It was the admin rights that got me, thanks for the tip! Regarding the picks, I'm taking a bit of creative license and giving Buffalo all three 1st rounders (BUF, NYI, and STL). As a result, I have Miller resigning with the Blues for like 5 years, $30 million.
