Every time I go to download the Indexer from here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=8689 I get this error 'C:\Users\Jesse\Downloads\Index Updater v1.0.zip: Unexpected end of archive' - I have Windows 8 and everything all my Windows updates are current.

Yep - that's exactly why. One of these days I'll get round to sorting it out, but what limited time I have right now is spent helping with the roster update and working on the next version of the Updater. 
The solution to your problem is to download the EHM Updater. This will update the index for you. Just load the DB into the Updater and then click on Save. The Updater updates/corrects the index each time you load/save the DB using the Updater.
