Pantsukki - Many thanks indeed for all of the corrections you have been listing. I have compiled all of the mistakes you have mentioned into a spreadsheet for importing into the v7.0 Rosters.

There are a couple of minor exceptions, namely:

1) SHL and Canadian Major Junior players will have their histories updated separately.
2) For goalies, the source I use only has GP. It doesn't have the other stats needed (I use this particular source because it makes updating the histories in bulk very easy). This is really annoying and something I'll think about for a future Updater (so that we can make it easy to go over old histories and add the missing info).

The v7.0 Rosters will also include updated histories for virtually all NHL and AHL players. I'll also look at updating players in other leagues too - but I don't think it'll make it in time for v7.0.

Just to clarify what we're looking for with regards to feedback on the player career histories:

1. Mistakes in the history (this is self-explanatory).

2. Missing entries. We don't need to know that a player is missing entries after a particular season (we can use the Updater to create a list of this). What we do need to know is if a player is missing an entry in amongst his existing entries. Let's say we have a player whose history entries go up until 2012/13. There's no need to let us know that he's missing entries from 2013/14 onwards because the Updater will alert us to this. However, if he's missing an entry prior to his most recent entry (i.e. an entry prior to 2012/13) then please do let us know.

3. If there is an important prospect or player who is not contracted to a playable league and does not have up to date history then please let us know. I'll leave it to your discretion to decide who is "important". [This is basically an exception to point #2 above]

Couple of messed up history things in FLyers records. States that most goals scored by a rookie is RYAN REHILL with 38 in 1994-95 and MOST POINTS as well from same season 83.


Interesting since when you click on the player it is Ryan Rehill, but in 2014-15 he is playing for the Kamloops Blazers, and his birthday is 11-7-1995. So he did this in diapers with a bottle in his mouth. Dude is better than Crosby. But how did the Flyers lose him back to Junior? And he sure has regressed since in his entire 4 year junior career he does not have 35 goals, nor has he accumulated 83 points.

What did his parents and/or Ed Snider and Bobby Clarke do to him? Lindros town
