Too much icetime for first line

Post by scorpions91 »

I play with Avs and have Landeskog, Duchene and Mackinnon on first line. I also have John Carlson (acquired) with Erik Johnson on first D-pair. The forwards get like 30 mins and the D-mens get 36 mins per game.

It doesnt seem realistic and that doesnt leave much time for the other lines. Is there a setting to change that? Because i havent found any solution for it.

Are you playing EHM07?
If you are, then Click on Tactics to get to the screen with your lines, and then click on Tactics again (top left area)...you'll then see Forward Usage and Defense Usage.

Forward Usage can be set between Normal, Equal, Overload, Just Three and Just Two.
Defense Usage can be set to Normal, Equal, Overload and Just Two.

Hmmm...do you have these players (who are getting to much ice time) on all other possible lines too?
If they're on the top line, the top PP, the top PK and 4-on-4 you'll get higher ATOI...

I've had D average around 30 minutes before, but I've never had forwards average anywhere close to 30 minutes myself :dunno:
