toronto over the caps b/c the caps beat me
rangers over the flyers, the rangers are too good. Will be a great series though.

LA over stl, by a hair. This could go either way. Wil is really good at the game, but his team isnt realy firing, and the kings are quite good.
Minn over Edm- next year Edm may be superior, but atm the wild are too tough

East

TOR vs WSH - Caps have home ice which is important as Toronto is very good at home but awful on the road (less than .500!). Ronkainen and St. Pierre have been very good as well. Caps in 5

NYR vs PHI - Toughest series for me to predict because the top line talent for both teams is excellent. The goaltending is farily unsettled in Philly as a transition to Wesley seems to be underway. He held up against a number of good shooters on Florida's squad but the Rangers have a bit more depth. The Rangers have invested heavily in this season and anything less than a cup victory would be a disappointment. Home ice favors Rangers but may not be too significant as the Flyers have the best road record in the conference. This series is bound for 7 games and likely will come down to who can stay healthier. I'll take the Rangers in 7 bc I feel like the depth is there to sustain injuries to key individuals better than Philly.

West

LA vs StL - Both teams had tough first round opponents and managed to survive game 7's. The Kings have more talent throughout the lineup but that didn't stop the Blues from winning the season series. Blues have been tough on home ice as only two teams in the conference possess better home records. All that being said, I believe talent and depth favor LA - Kings in 6

Min vs Edm - Davidson has turned into a real monster in net. Hope of the West is that next year is the last year that GM Scott is able to keep him under such a cap friendly contract. May be the last year the Wild have a number of their key pieces. Wild in 5
