Found this really cool net page, with live images from all the SM-Liiga ice halls of the teams that were in the top 8 for the playoffs.

Check it out!

I am a true-blue Maple Leaf fan. I wish they would win a cup someday so I can finally stop getting laughed at by my friends.

My favourite home team (non-NHL) is Locomotive Yaroslavl. It is situated in our region's main city (it's 80 kms from me), got new great arena and strong selection of players. We were the champions for two strait years in 2000 and 2001. But recent seasons something missing in our game, and this year it's only semifinals; maybe lack of NHL-players? Other teams invited a lot of them, and we got only Yashin and Antropov (from what I remember). Well, may be when the lockout will be over, our side will not degrade. All hopes for a new season!

May be not on topic, just come to memory... This winter saw on TV Igor Larionov's farewell match in Moscow. Many good players came, from NHL too (mostly from Detroit), it was pretty good show, yeah. There were two teams (one.. two.. yeah, two); one consisted of Russians - type of All-Star game and the other NHL-All Stars. So Larionov played for Russian team in first two periods and scored - it was standing ovation for him; but his side was loosing to the end of period by 1. In the pause he switched jerseys with Steve Yzerman, so Steve come on ice with 8 on his back. Before that he was playn' miserably, but on the second minuite of 3rd period he scored easily and did it again for Russians five minutes later. So Russian all-stars win thanks to Canadian center. Well, when I started writing this I thought it was funny, but I'm not sure now. Anyway, with Larionov's leaving, great era in Russian hockey is over and for how it looks it's hardly be repeated ever. Buy, Igor! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
