Yup, that's the 50k bug. If a player accepts a deal worth 10 million, the salary will show up at 50k.

Re: Funny/weird/cool screenshots
This glitch happens sometimes when the game is as far along as you are right now. You can fix it by adding a GM, hiring and AGM, HC, and some other staff, and then after a couple of weeks retire that added GM.jamuli wrote:https://www.dropbox.com/s/1jxs40duran0i ... 6.png?dl=0

I know this screenie is a little old, but he's playing 27-28 minutes a game. Double shifting him. Normal playing time will yield 20-22 mins for a top line/top PP forward. It's easy to rack up points this way since it doesn't seem to have any ill effects on the player.MaaliRuisku wrote:I try. If there aren't massive changes to game engine, I think results will be the same.![]()

Yeah mainly no effects, but I do believe that the injury becomes more likely the more you play a guy. My best example is how when you play your starting goalie 65 or more games, they almost always get injured somewhere in the playoffs. Top defense get injured alot in playoffs as well, as do centres. Not as much on the wings for me, but definitely those positions. The more you play them...seems the more likely they get hurt at the most crucial time of the year. So many many times I have gone without my #1 goalie in the playoffs for some period of time.
In Carolina challenge, Cam Ward only went down 2 of the 6 years I Played. Both in the playoffs. Both because those were the seasons he played over 65 games. The others ones...not that many games.

Re: Funny/weird/cool screenshots [EHM 2005 & 2007]
I found a couple cool screenshots from my last play through of 2007:
These are the stats from one of my goalie prospects in his first season in the AHL:

This player is one of my favorite stories. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of his stats, and the save file is long gone, but Tibor Szabo, the #8 right winger listed below was a special prospect for me. I drafted him 210th overall, the very last pick in the draft ... out of Slovenia. I took my time developing him, and he became a world class 2-way winger and when he was ~26, he became my captain.

Re: Funny/weird/cool screenshots [EHM 2005 & 2007]
Found these print screens from an old save with a fantasy expansion team I played a couple of years ago. My rules was simply to not trade any players from any other team in the NHL for the first season. I could trade signed players for picks, though. And just sign UFA's
Notice the PIM & +/- and that I had ALOT of first rounders in the draft

Obviously the game doesn't know Sean Monahan's name and we get the replacement string instead.

Looks like there could be a typo somewhere in the language file.
