I just want to know if it's normal that almost 100% of nhl players don't have their pictures in the game (the face picture shown when we select a player). For now I just have the demo but it s kind strange that AHL players have their picture but not the NHL one's ....
Admin note: Welcome to TBL! I edited your title so people havign the same question will know to look at this thread for the answer. -Minty
But you guys, do you initially had the face pictures of nhl players before adding facepack creations ?????
I downloaded the TBL 2007 Cards NHL A to o but theres lot of players missing. I play with MTL and for exemples i have no pictures for Sheldon Souray , Saku Koivu and some others. I see a blue player pictogram (draw) instead that is used when theres no picture for a player.

In our game, we have no many face pictures just like you.
it's normal than you don't have all face pictures, because, you have only faces from A to O. I think (I am not sure about this) they are in order from their names. Since Saku and Sheldon start both with S, you must wait until the last section of NHL face pictures to see them.
okay, well do you know if it's because I only have the demo version that there are no NHL players face pictures ??? Cause if I look at some screenshots of the game in some game websites, there's some showing a player profile. For exemple : henrik tallinder and there's a face picture of him. And also, why they would have put all the pictures for AHL players and others minors leaguers and nothing at all fort NHL players. But if you say that you didnt have the NHL players pictures too I will understand that it is not a installation problem or something like that. But i find it strange anyway ...
Using the demo does nothing to do with faces. Because, those who use the complete version have download the demo (the demo is a ''try and buy'' demo (that's mean you try and if you like the game, you buy it and you activate the demo with an eliscence.
With what I hear (you question about nhl faces pics) it a licence problem with the NHL.
The demo is exactly the same as the full version. So what you do and don't get in the demo is what you will and won't get in the full version.
Because of licensing issues, EHM could not include and NHL player pictures. Devils88 is currently working on a complete NHL facepack at the moment. He's released A-O already and P-Z should be out fairly soon (I'm giving him a hand with it at the moment). When that's out it should cover the entire NHL.
Obviously Sheldon Souray and Saku Koivu both begin with an 'S' and so they won't be in the A-O pack.

But well,i know Devils88's job: this will soon be tweaked and be a perfect job!
Dont be cruel guys!!!
Devils88 has already said that there are about 20 players missing in the A-O download and that they will be coming soon!!! So dont worry, we will have all the players of the NHL in there, we just have to be patient!!!
BTW; all u guys who are doing that stuff are great and make a excellent game even better!!!! KUDOS to all u guys from a computer dummy!!!
About the original post: well at the beginning I also was a bit "confused" about all the facepacks missing, but no problemo, just copy-pasted the "pictures-players" from EHM05 in the new game...and voilà !!!
flea: i'm not cruel i now that D88 will finish the job,and that we will have the same quality as he always shown on his facepacks I was mostly joking than anything else
Everyone here knows that D88 is the ultimate god of facepacks!
Yes, last version there were player pictures from all the NHL rosters in the default game. They were allowed to keep them in the updated version that came out that basically became EHM 2006 but the NHL did not include player pictures as a part of their liscensing agreement for EHM 2007. It gets a little confusing in the game admittedly since there are pictures of players in NHL jerseys but these are all players that are covered not by NHLPA liscensing but by the liscensing for the AHL or other leagues, so you will notice it is mainly younger players...
When I get some time I'll post more info.
By the way, the standard approach will be that after D88 gets the full NHL set done there will be a miscelaneous set that will fill in missed players, and add any corrected/updated players. I know he also has a NHL Draft set planned as well. Soon they will all make their appearance
Hey guys remember that you can fill in the missing players from the EHM 2005 pics. I have bothe picture folders open and when I find a player missing (who's mug I want to see), I just copy and paste. Easy as pie!
