I can't even... What... After 8 years.... This is crazy. I wake up one day and a new EHM is confirmed and it's to be release the same day. This is a great day. Thanks you to everyone who kep TBL alive all the years.

Agreed. I'll continue my duties over there, as I (as have you) have put a lot of hours and work into that project and would like it to succeed. Going to be an interesting situation now. Perhaps it will drive both teams to another level. Competition is never a bad thing.

I can't take all of the credit. You have run the Challenges and moderated for years now. And so many other people have helped keep the community and game running. I'm not sure we'd be here otherwise.

And now you know why I mysteriously wanted to end the current Challenge a little earlier than scheduled.

Honestly, if it weren't for you keeping this site going and guys like Manimal and Lidas keeping the rosters up to date this community would have fizzled out long ago.

You know, I had my suspicions when you wanted to end the challenge early. I knew it had to be more than just doing something really cool with the new roster update. The little things people started posting in the rumors thread really sealed it though.

I'm just happy that there's new life to our favorite game! Even if they decide not to continue the series, it sounds like the game is made to be able to be continually modified and updated. We won't need all of the work-arounds you guys have come up with over the years.

I'm just happy that there's new life to our favorite game! Even if they decide not to continue the series, it sounds like the game is made to be able to be continually modified and updated. We won't need all of the work-arounds you guys have come up with over the years.

At the very least, the game fixes all of the major issues that I'm aware of. I'm sure things like the trade AI will need further adjustment (I've only tried outrageous trades rather than the more subtle abuse of AI trades). But this is where the community will be so important - we need to feedback these issues to Riz and SI Games so that they can tweak them whilst we still have the Early Access period.

Also, we need as many people to buy the game as possible. As Miles mentions in my interview with him, the game will return on a full-time basis if it reaches enough sales.

Is there a way to find out what the goal is and get some sort of handle of the progression? I for one would be motivated to convince everyone I know to go out and buy a copy if I knew how necessary it might be toward securing a brighter future for EHM.

I'm afraid it's confidential commercial data (I don't know what the target is either). All we can do is buy the game and spread the word. Ultimately this is a niche game and so even one additional sale could make all the difference.
