If Archi's solution does not work for you, you can try to use the keyboard command Alt+C to confirm the changes. Sorry, I am a bit late, but it only crossed my mind now.

It works the same.
Not everything can be changed, though
Also, check out the import_config file

Really? I wanted to edit the TBL roster but there is no index.dat file to open it?

Alright, no worries man. Just wanted to update a few Canucks - got a few weird performances out of my first 25 games worth of simming. Like Higgins being a top goal scorer and Vrbata playing like his 57y old. :-D

Will do for sure but need to do some more testing before, could be just a random thing. However it seems like the new version has a bit a different look at the skills / attributes. In the season preview it called the Avs the top favorite to win the cup and had the Sabres ranked at 8th. :-D

Simming a bit further that seems to be more an issue of the game rather then the database.

After a great start the Sabres have pretty much lost most of the games and being dead last by end of January.

It's been a really crazy day, so I've been seriously busy. But I'll get an EHM 2007 format DB of the v7.3 rosters online tomorrow.

Awesome, much appriciated. Will definitely help if we are able to edit some stuff and try things out. Game engine seems to be a bit different, so the focus on some things might shift elsewhere. But no need to hurry here, guess everyone is busy playing right now.

Not directly. You have to edit an EHM07 database and then import that database into EHM:EA http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 13&t=13582

I don't have EHM07, so I can't use the pre-game editor?

You don't need EHM07 to edit the database (you just download the editors and EHM07 database, edit, and then import the EHM07 database into EHM:EA).

To edit EHM07 you can use the Pre Game Editor http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=6745 or the EHM Updater http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... hm+updater

Here's how to import an EHM07 database into EHM:EA http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 13&t=13582

Here's the current rosters in EHM07 format https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=a0fa740e ... C5C5%21740

I'm having some issues with affiliations. I've been trying to make a Seattle hockey team, and their Portland AHL team. I've made both teams (I think correctly), but when trying to make their affiliations, selecting the Seattle's name inserts the Portland team, and the Portland team's name isn't on the list. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Can you post a screenshot of the affiliate screen from the Pre-Game Editor?

Even better than a screenshot!

I find the Pre-Game Editor does not always update the team and league names in the various lists until you save your DB and re-load the Editor. So try restarting the Editor after you have renamed the team. Then try setting up the affiliation again.

The problem is that I can't save it because the affiliations are incomplete. I don't know what to do. :/

So even if you simply rename the team, it's not letting you save it?

What do you mean re-name? Portland doesn't appear on the list, but selecting Seattle puts Portland in the affiliation. Also, if I leave the rosters and staff empty, can I sign all of the players and staff I need in-game?

I'm pretty sure Archi means can you just rename the team, save, and then exit/close the Editor?
Then open the Editor again, reload your database again, and then try to set up the affiliation

colinrsmall wrote:The problem is that I can't save it because the affiliations are incomplete. I don't know what to do.
This shouldn't matter, you should still be able to save your database and close it, even with incomplete affiliations.

When you first edit or create a team (name) it doesn't always show up in the affiliations list.
The Pre-Game Editor does not always update the team and league names in the various lists until you save your database, and then close/exit the Editor, and then reopen the Pre-Game Editor and reload your database

I may be mistaken, but isn't this saying I can't save it before closing? https://gfycat.com/CaringExemplaryIrishdraughthorse
