I'll echo the demand for UK Leagues. Would be great to have the Elite and Premier Leagues, though I can imagine Riz will have more of a job updating them owing to the format changing so much since the last version of the game, with the Elite having the conference system and the way the Cup tables take the scores from the first two league games.

Would love to manage lower-down the English leagues though; NIHL-1 and below. Oxford City Stars and MK Thunder?

Can we get the French league too? I was researching some of the UK Imports in a previous game and one of Lightning's came from 'Bison Neulle San-Mar', What a name for a Hockey Club! :)
UK leagues are in the game already, search around on the world tab in game. They just aren't active for playable leagues yet. I'm sure Archi has that on the top of his demands list for us anyway :-p

How did this slip my radar? I've been playing and enjoying FM for years since EHM went away, even tried the awful Hockey sim by the OOTP creators, but then I got a PM from Archi.....

Well there goes my nights, so excited to see EHM possibly coming back.

Hmm, I'm a Montreal Canadiens game and I don't know where I want to begin (I haven't purchased it yet) but since I like playing LLM in FM, what's your recommendation for me to do a new save?

Canadian Jrs, Swedish Allsvenskan or Finnish Metis are the lowest possible leagues available right now. Pick somebody with horrible support and a tiny area in Swedish or Finnish league !

I imagine, once the game goes full, adding leagues will not be a problem. Considering the things you can edit with FM, EHM engine shouldn't be much different. Definetly should the coding of EHM: EA be a pleasure for all dedicated editors around this community, considering the wonders they were making with hardcoded EHM 07. At least I would imagine :)

Otherwise, back to topic, I will definetly start in Europe and considering the leagues available, it will either be Swedish leagues or KHL. Slovan Bratislava seems to be the first team that comes to my minds at the moment. Can't wait, it still feels so surreal, not only that EHM is back again, but that the actual game is already released (I expected a "coming soon" news at best today).

Are you saying that Swedish or Finland is worse than Canadian Jrs? :P

Playing as VIK Västerås HK in Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan.

As the team is currently choking on their last chance of getting promoted, I guess I will have to fix it for them =D>

:\

Haha, ofcourse not! Just I'd imagine jumping from Can Jrs to NHL/AHL level would be easier than say small town Metis club climbing the ranks!

I'd say that HockeyAllsvenskan is a better league than ECHL personally but ok...

Haven't decided yet, but I am considering for the beginning:

Coyotes - try their full rebuild
or
Leafs - obviously, horrible season 2014-15

will see.. :-?

Starting off at the bottom as Kalamazoo Wings GM, excited to work my way up to an NHL job!

How can I change the background image(s)? I tried using the guide on the wiki for 2007 but it didn't seem to work. I'm having a hard time reading the stat numbers when put against that BG, so I was wondering if there were a way I could change it.

Thanks!

Hmm, I am not convinced yet... just started up EHM, but don't know what I want to do... I want to do a similar LLM type in EHM, but I don't know which leagues to load so I can start unemployed...

Any help? :(

I'm going to be Ottawa, can't wait to get started.

Side question, are there any graphics/logo or facepacks for the game? Is it even possible to include them in the Early Access build? I've only just bought the game.

After fiddling around for a bit in a test game, I think I'll try to put out the tire fire in Edmonton. :-k

Starting off with the Leafs using hidden attributes (my favorite new feature so far). First order of business: testing out the new trade AI by trading away Kessel and Phaneuf. Really hoping the AI will be good enough that I won't have make up a bunch of rules for myself to make trading more difficult like I did in 07.

I have no idea what to do. I want to play the challenge, I want to play Junior, I want to play no attributes, I want to make the Canucks lose, I want to injure every player on the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens,,,,and I want to bring Tony Hand out of retirement. I also want Patrick marleau and Antero Nittymaaakiiiiii on my team! What to do....I also want to win the cup with the Leafs to prove that this game is NOT realistic.

It's been so long I have posted here... Thank you for the private message, I just bought the game and I am hoping for a success, I am currently downloading the new database... Wow I was left without any hope of anything like that! I am so happy.

I'm with you on the lack of UK leagues. I'd love to coach an NIHL-1 team such as Invicta. But I'd be happy to at least see the EIHL and EPL back. More leagues will be added during Early Access and so I'm hopeful we'll see their return. :-)
Any chance for Latvian Championship to be added too?
