Hey guys,
I've been around the old original EHM for a long time but I'm new to this game and steam. I'm running windows 7 with an nvidia Geforce GTS 360MB graphics card.
When I try and launch the game I get a blank screen and the computer locks up. I really want to play this game, but I'm completely at a loss. Would reinstalling cure this, and is that an option in steam? I am humbly at your mercy.

Not sure if there's another way to uninstall, but by right clicking the game in your library and clicking Delete Local Content you can uninstall the game. Then reinstall.

Thanks, and this may be a stupid question, but being new to steam and all, how do i reinstall? Aren't all the files on their servers? I'm usually competent with computers, but I'm a complete newbie in this environment

I believe that can also be done via the game library. I'm not at my home computer now, but I believe there's an install option if you right click on that greyed out ehm title.

That's right - you need to find the game in your Steam library. Rather than having a "play" button it will be an "install" button.Tasku wrote:I believe that can also be done via the game library. Thanks guys, the install was pretty simple but it didn't solve the problem. If anyone has any possible solutions, I'd love to hear them.

I don't even mind that I spent money on a game I can't play. I feel like I owe Risto from all the years I have enjoyed the free version, but I would really like to play this game.

It could be an issue with the driver of your graphics card. Have you tried a driver rollback?
Go to Device Manager (ctrl+R, then "devmgmt.msc")
Open "Display Adapters" and click your graphics adapter
Go to the tab "Drivers" and click on the button "Roll back driver"
After completing this, restart your system and try again to start the game.

Still nothing but thanks for trying. I feel like eventually we'll hit on something and I'll get my game on.
