I saw that the games list of playable leagues does not include the Swiss NLA. However, I saw that the latest roster update from the kind folks here includes the Swiss league. I am wondering if this means that it's now a playable league in the game, or simply something that gets simulated in the background?
Would love to know, since the ability to play the Swiss league pretty much determines whether or not I buy the game.
Can the playable leagues be edited?

Right now NLA isn't a playable league in EHM Early Access.

Re: Can the playable leagues be edited?
Thanks mate for the response. Did it get edited in as a playable league into ESHM 2007? Much chance of that happening for the new version or will we have to wait for the developers to do so?
It does seem odd that they have two tiers of Swedish and Finnish hockey yet none of a similarly strong Swiss league (or the Czech). I suppose they may want to do one country well before moving onto others.

Re: Can the playable leagues be edited?
It's completely up to the developers if they add Swiss league. At the moment we, the community, can not add playable leagues. Perhaps sometime in the future, if SI releases an editor. I believe in EHM 07 the issue was not getting the license to add the Swiss league.

Hopefully then the lack of licensing shouldn't be a problem since there aren't licenses for any league

Re: Can the playable leagues be edited?
That's true.
If I'm not mistaken the license issue with the Swiss league was different than say the Finnish league, where they could create genuine players, but could not include real teams, whereas the Swiss league would've required player names also to be faked if it were to be created without the license. So they couldn't include it at all for 07.
But... that was EHM 07, all is possible for EHM EA!

Maybe I'm wrong thinking but if for example SI add swiss league with fake players a licence isn't needed? and TBL Update make other? :>

Re: Can the playable leagues be edited?
True. That could happen. But AFAIK they are aiming for a fully licensed game in the long run, in which case they probably wouldn't make a nation playable, unless they get the proper license.
But, we shall see what happens.

Re: Can the playable leagues be edited?
I wouldn't be surprised at the Swiss League playing hard-to-get. Hopefully in this new version of EHM someone figures out how to put in the NLA, and maybe even the NLB, since promotion-relegation is very important.
