Big update! I won't post the whole changelist as we have a thread for that. Seems like they've really been listening to a lot of our gripes with this one.
- Graphical playoff tree for viewing playoff stages - Improved AI evaluation of players in trades
- Improved AI for trimming roster when near salary cap limits
- Improved AI evaluation of draft picks in trades
- Improved AI evaluation of expected turns of draft picks
Those are the huge ones for me, I really like the graphical improvement of the attribute listings as well, a lot easier on the eyes.
EDIT: I don't see anything about the player morale issues in there... Unless I'm missing something.
I like the changes, noticed something awkward right away though, Detroit put Nyquist on the block to fix their cap issues One of their best players on a 950k cap hit is what they put on the block

Scheduling should be fixed for the next new season in the saved games. Riz said this over at the HFBoards: "Most of the changes will apply to saved games as well. Some will take effect the next season (scheduling fixes for example). The ones specifically listed under the database importer changes will not apply for existing saved games."

Well, in your opinion, what should Detroit do? Because if they trade away Hossa, no, he's a franchise player, he shouldn't get traded, if they trade nyquist, no, he's one of their best players...
I think that now we should all get better as beta testers and not just moan about things, but also trying to suggest something.

Ehm, Hossa is in Chicago Detroit have several players that could be on the block and Nyquist is probably the last one along with DeKeyser Quincey and Cole come to mind...

Same in my game, very peculiar indeed especially with Weiss @4.9M

Should the database be imported again? In the changelog it read "Database Import changes for 2014 rules: [apply to new games started with newly imported databases only]".

I tried that. Downloaded the EHM 07 version, imported it, tried to start a new game, but no change.

Yeah the ones you bolded will help a lot.
I gotta finish researching the draft results, but there are quite a few top 5 picks bust hard(like 0 Games played) and it's possible the AI reached(can't see the rankings of a past draft). AI might need an improvement for developing prospects(though there are a good amount of mid/late rounders that turn out well.)
- Adjustments to older player progression
Yay good to see this get adjusted. darn 40 year olds flying around the ice

Well, for the KHL the situation is only marginal better (which was announced too). We need to bug Riz again I'm afraid.
Take a look at a calendar. SUnday is the first day of the week, and Saturday the last. At least in any calendar I have ever seen. Work week starts Monday for many, but week actually starts Sunday
