When I have gone to vocation in May for a month someone (Head Coach?) has moved almost all my team Sibir to Siberian Snipers (junior team from MHL) so most of the players goes AWOL. Is that bug?

Probably you need to start a new save. It's working perfectly for me.

There are some no trade clauses on NY Ranegrs that woudl make the managing of the tema harder, otu of my mind Girardi, Staal, Boyle and St Louis.

Have not read all the pages but Erik Gustafsson (Borlänge) and Tyler Johnson (Västervik) is far too good. Bought them to my Jokerit and both was considered to be top 10 players at each position.

It's been fixed. They got the ratings of players with the exact name and birthyear.

Long time San Jose Sharks scout Jack Gardiner died early last year following a long battle with cancer.

Hate to be the one to point this out but can he be removed from the database please. :-(

On a side note I have currently amended 50 records of NHL Staff and Players Birth Details (Mainly Staff) from your new 7.3 Pseudo Roster. I'm documenting the changes I have made but not the actual details so it would need to be merged if you wanted to use my changes. If it can't be merged then I would have to go back and list every detail changed.

We've got a guy working on NHL staff. I will let him finish his work, but thanks anyway

This guy signed with Kings today:
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=50668
Looked at him in EHM rosters and should probably be re-evaluated. Eliteprospects has him as a "future consideration".

This is just a reminder if I'm not the one doing the future roster update for the NHL. :-D

My personal feedback on the new attributes on Liiga:

Eetu Laurikainen - overrated, he had a great season but looking back that he was playing in the WHL for 2012-2014 and that he's such a young goalie I don't see him that good, if he was that good he would've played for Finland internationally
Jan Latvala - a bit overrated, I personally wouldn't rate a 42-year-old defenseman a top player in a national league
Jussi Markkanen - a bit overrated, would give him CA between 105 and 110
Brian Salcido - isn't such a great passer or a shooter, he tends to hold on the puck for too long and he also shoots a lot (often directly at the goalie), his passes never start a breakaway and are often plain simple, only in the offensive zone does he sometimes manage to surprise, his offensive zone positioning is his best asset, sometimes takes stupid penalties and joins small fights so his aggression could be higher
Lasse Lappalainen - no way is he that good of a shooter, more like average for Liiga at max
Johan Larsson - overrated, neither does he possess a good slapshot but rather a quick and a sharp wristshot, isn't so great defensively and sometimes passes the puck terrifyingly on the defensive zone (notorious for scoring in his own net the past two seasons)
Joni Suutari - underrated, hasn't played so often due to big injuries and is more a defensive than an offensive forward
David McIntyre - isn't such a big hitter
Jesse Mankinen - doesn't possess such a good wristshot despite scoring some numbers every season, isn't a cowardly player: blocks a bunch of shots and plays penalty kill all the time, thus should have better bravery
Juuso Riksman - overrated, only had a great spring this season and isn't one of the top goalies in Liiga anymore, I'd say his CA is 105 at max, he could even retire now
Teemu Aalto - overrated, his main asset is his slapshot but otherwise he isn't that good, his age should be considered
Teemu Lassila - a bit underrated, is still one of the top goalies in the league but played behind poor defense this season, is inconsistent though and loses his temper after letting in a couple of goals in a row: this shows as giving up his game
Matt Generous - overrated, simply isn't that good

Overall I see that the attributes are pretty much set for the player role each player has. But I don't understand why many of the players' attributes are so overstated. For instance, Valtteri Virkkunen has 16 in Pokecheck, 15 in Positioning and 14 in Checking. I agree that he's really a defensive forward, but is he really that good at that role? And are such great attributes even needed for a player whose CA is 88? Even the game itself modifies the players to fit the player roles so Virkkunen loses his offensive abilities even more while starting the game, thus making him nothing but a checking forward.
The problem here is that not every defensive forward is bad at attacking, they just won't go for it so often or play in a defensive role in their current team. Now the game pretty much sorts every player to fit their player role and all-around players are close to non-existent (excluding the NHL). I don't know if this is ''an issue'' within the game or the rating but nevertheless I wouldn't want to view players so strictly graded, every player is an individual.

Nevertheless thanks for the hard work! :notworthy:

So Virkkunen should be all-around player who can score goals? That kid have not scored goals since.. never. There's reason why he is one dimensional checking forward and he is good at it.

In any case I'm more interested about results you are getting, are those realistic or not?

No, he isn't an offensive forward even though he managed to score a couple and step up his game after joining SaiPa. What I meant was that shouldn't he rather have ratings like 11 to 13 on those attributes? At least that's how I used to (and was guided to) rate Finnish Liiga.

I haven't had time to test these rosters yet but mostly (to my eyes) the players are realistic and rightly valued in comparison to each other. I was just wondering on how will the game act if the league has players with such great abilities on one role but that's all. :)

Yeah, I think the NIHL promotions/etc need to be looked at generally (also the NIHL-2 realignment that occurred as of this season). Same goes for Cardiff - we set them up last summer following the disagreement with the Devils. The names need to be changed back to the Devils following the collapse of the Fire (both the NIHL-1 and -2).

I'll stick these both on my list of things to do for the next release.

Some notes about JYP

-Change the name from Jyväskylän JYP to JYP Jyväskylä
-Synergia-areena capacity is 4365. They added some more seats couple of seasons ago and at the same time removed some standing seats.
-#1 (Ari-Pekka Siekkinen) was retired on November 22nd, 2013.
-Kari Tyni is the GM, Marko Virtanen is the head coach.
-They also have an affiliation with Boston Bruins

Mike Swift, Bryan Young, Brock Radunske, Mike Testwuide all play for the South Korean national team

Also, Vesa Ponto has been retired since the 2006-07 season, unless I've missed something. No idea if he's still involved with hockey.

Ric Jackman now plays for Nippon Paper Cranes, he's contracted to Anyang in the rosters, IIRC:

Adam Borzecki is Polish / German, he's listed as Polish / Canadian in game

It's more fitting to have it as it is. As then all Liiga teams start with the city then the team name.
